There is something about the member rank and it kind of makes it feel very unique. I just archived the member rank and it downed on me how far we've gone. These I've simplified in how you keep me going. Let's get going in

Being a newbie is quite easy, I became a newbie on 25th Oct, 2019.
Staying a newbie wasn't so easy or fun either
It meant familiarizing yourself with the forum
Reading rules, posts, comments and not getting banned

            You showed me progress
Being a Jr. Member welcomes you
It introduced you to the merit and activity system
It says, your a step in the right direction
It encourages you to focus on getting better through research and participation
It also warned to avoid getting banned.

           You acknowledged me
Being a member says your recognized, you belong here
It implies your a piece of the puzzle and do add up
It verifies the account in the scale of things and importance to you(me)
My membership tells me we've got more work to do cause,

Finally, I'm a member
And I'm saying congratulations to you and me for getting me here and it really takes you and me to keep us going. Thanks.

I was curiously surprised by the topic heading that says "us" though the successful journey isn't one sided, its a mutual uplifting process and vice versa through learning and contributing positively to the development of minds and forum. You got here through your sudden help you enriched to others and that's the beginning of the knowledge you have acquired so far, it had been believed that the higher the rank the higher the knowledge about blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, technical perspectives, wallets control policy, and others, you impacted and acquired and that's true.

Congratulations on your journey it's not easy now, I have seen so many newbies with over 100 activity but have't got at least one merit, because they are contented on just reporting their bounty reports and do not want to participate in a healthy discussions here when there are a lot of topics to be talked about.

Earning merits is not easy but you don't really need main it as your main goal or either ranking up. Invest in cryptocurrency and gain more knowledge about cryptocurrency. For sure merit and ranking, up is just a bonus.

Invest in cryptocurrency and gain more knowledge about cryptocurrency. For sure merit and ranking, up is just a bonus.

I think this is just about the idea every beginner or low rank user needs to understand. Learning first hand by making some investments yourself and then see the merit, activities and ranking up system in the forum as just a bonus for doing a good job in the forum and being a component or element in the cryptosphere.
No doubt, investing in cryptocurrency could be risky and as such is not a thing you just jump into without prior investigation on the what and how... but, it surely shows the way things are done in the sphere which it operates. That's what this forum teaches but, having a first hand experience does better in imprinting on your mind that which you have learnt. Good one.

Are you really feeling that way? Because you should not in the first place. Despite of what rank you had (even the brand new), every member is welcome here. Well, I admit that some higher ranks, including me, seem rude towards them but it wasn't personal. We only react based on how they enter here (in most cases, everybody gets mad once you said the word "campaign" on your first day). So as long as you are not guilty of being a scammer, sh*tposter or d*mbass in any manner then fell free to exclude yourself. You deserve to get recognized, you belong .

Anyway, congrats mate. There are still many things you will learn along the way. Keep up the good work.

Just avoid spam post and you can even achieved higher rank. Most people tend to focus on earning merit just to participate on signature campaign but of course, thats a privilege for quality topic creators. You can ripped that when you prove yourself here.

If you keep on trying, you will succeed one day. In this case people need to write and contribute to the forum and the merits will come by automatically. All you need to do is some writing and do not be impatient for the merits.

Yeah earning merit is difficult especially to the average posters. Surely one will not be able to rank up.

Anyway, congratulations on ranking up to member and your journey towards full member now started. It may be long or it may be short way to reach the next rank but the important thing is that you know how to get along here in the forum. We are free to do anything here that even scrutinizes the Mods or even theymos the one managing this forum.

Yet, as a norm like in every society we are dictated with rules and regulations to have a smooth flow over the people or users around. So, it is better OP to stay at the line of promulgating the forum by helping one another especially the new comers. Most of the newcomers were being told that the forum offers opportunity to earn which is not. Most of the new comers are doing bounty hunters and messing around the forum instead of actively participating or learning from the discussions.

The rank allows to have a personal orientation and a first image for other users of how you act in the forum, with time you know who earn the rank due to whatever circumstances ... and yes! It is a guide to perhaps the type of user you are today, but the really important thing as a forum user is that even if you are the top of the range, you do not end up banned, with flags, bad comments or simply hated and in that sense we always forget perhaps the largest group in the forum, users who are rank zero, who always read, who are there silent, receiving the good and the bad of the forum ... and in that group they end any rank, they just come and go ... yes ! Those who say in their profile last activity ... but always open the option to say here "I am"

So I take advantage of your post to congratulate you, but also congratulate all users, even silent users in all their ranges ... who are also part of the whole bitcointalk forum.

So if in 10 years you can go through this thread and update it, it will not matter what rank you have but it will be cool to see it.

Congratulations OP on your achievement. You are on the right track and judging by the quality of your posts, I won't be surprised if you reach the full member rank in the next few weeks/months.
However, my advice to you, is to not think much about ranks and merits as it may turn into obsession and distract you from the main purpose of being here which is learning and sharing your knowledge with others.
