I think FaucetCrypto is trustworthy, but how about other sites such as MoreMoney.io and FaucetPay.io? I might add more in the future (unless I'll have to add a new topic to make this seen).

I warn lazy people to not exchange their privacy, identities and security to get some free things back. What they get in return can have zero value but what they might lose are too big. Privacy when is lost, it will never be able to get back.

In addition faucet sites are/also can be disguised -PONZI SITES-  its strangely wonderful people get excited/interested for tiny satoshi - some don't redeem there promise- after people's referring for them -getting more to do even more refferals-

Faucets are worthless.
It really is not worth the time. You would be better off getting a job and buying bitcoin. Saves you tons of time and electricity.

Other than that, there are no "free crypto" sites. If there are, they definitely are a scam.
No one gives away free money. You always pay for that. It is just, that sometimes it's not that obvious (e.g. with your data / privacy).

How did you define them as trustworthy? While the task they offer are quite simple (but waste so much time), you can't be sure they don't collect your data.

And if their stats are true, then it means each person only get less than $1 on average ($56,241.36 / 364,513 = $0.15...).

Getting your data or privacy is just the first step. Collecting information, email and personal stuff could follow as well. Users should not trust lightly these websites nor sharing their account information (Exchanges, etc.)
Enabling 2FA for example. and checking a particular website before creating an account is mandatory IMO.

I using faucets in various places connected to the micropayment "Faucethub" (now this service no longer exists) in the past, but even though the faucethub is a safe website (from malware), website providers that use it to spread malware, fortunately, my antivirus can detect malicious pages appearing from hidden "pop-ups" of advertisements on these websites. From there I realized that what I got was not worth the risk to the data on my PC. So, I suggest being careful, even though the website looks safe, remember the risks you have to bear. Currently, the faucets that I used are faucets on freebitcoin, which in order to get not redirected to another page to see advertisements. as mentioned by other members, you have to share data in this case email, IP, address, that's what you have to pay for, and need for a long time to withdraw without referrals. Finally, please do your research and consider the risks you will get when you want to collect satoshis from the faucet, especially if you have to fill out KYC.

It depends from which angle you look at them. From the perspective of the average user, due to today's price, BTC faucets pay very small amounts, so it is very difficult to collect something unless the user has a large number of referrals. From the perspective of the owner of a faucet, the thing can still be very profitable - at least as far as the oldest faucet is concerned. If we take into account that someone can earn only $1 today, it would be only $30 per month - which is of course very little, but in some countries a lot of money. If the price of BTC goes up only x10, it would mean that the value has increased to a nice $300. 5 years ago I waste 2-3 hours a day on faucets and thus earned my first BTC, and in 2 years that same BTC was worth x100 more - it's good that I kept it.

If one faucet can give a Lambo or $200 000 for the grand prize, I'd say it's not really worthless (of course this is an exception).

Not all, some are probably malicious and could have malware. Im not into faucet but I ocne used faucet for dogecoin, litecoin and bitcoin only to have some funds for the fee. But I dont really rely on these as potential earning method. These faucets give dust of coin or let say tiny figures which you could not sell and become rich.

Why instead focusing on faucets, learn how to do trading or yet make your life here in forum, understand some rules and contribute. If you got lucky then, you can rank up and earn from signature campaign.

I always warn people to not depend on making a living from earning on faucets. Mistake most people make is dedicating time and end up gambling it. But best part is that that little fraction might worth fortune in the future which you might be allowed to to withdraw.
Legit faucets I've used include freebitco.in.

From the topic to the opening post, shows how well we need to be careful in taking advice. Faucet pays peanuts and does not worth the time wasted on it. Its been a long time and does not believe it still exist. As a newbie at the moment, you may not benefit from opportunities from the space, however, investment is such a habit that can be done with some insignificant fund. If one invest 20 dollar in some coin last december in this space it would have worth $1000, check the DEFI, wpp etc if you doubt.

I've left anything to do with the faucet, you just sit around all day just getting paid for buying peanuts. Look at the current market, the hype defi is very good and start switching to investing in recommended projects for high profitability.

It's still not worth the trouble considering the resources one will have to put in there such as time, electricity and internet costs. I am pretty sure 1$ won't be enough to cover even the daily costs so the faucet hunter won't even be able to save his BTC worth $30 every month and have to wait for BTC price to go x10

You probably take your internet and electricity costs as a measure of what you invest and get - but internet and electricity prices are quite low in some countries. If we believe the data I found on one page are correct, Syria has internet that costs about $6 a month, and the price is similar in Ukraine - while that price in Russia and Romania ranges between $7-10 for very fast internet. After all, it is not uncommon for multiple users to share the same Internet connection, just as it is not uncommon for the illegal use of electricity in some countries to be a way of life. What I can say from my experience that even today the majority of faucet users come from Russia, Ukraine - any faucet owner can tell you that.

https://www.cable.co.uk/broadband/pricing/worldwide-comparison/

Wow, you were one of the lucky few. Faucets back then were so generous because not so many people would believe BTC would even get anywhere close to  $20K or even a half of it.

Faucets were not generous in the sense that they paid more than today if we measure it in fiat, but when the price of BTC was around $200 the rewards ranged from a minimum of 1000 sats per claim to 10 000 sats per claim. There were no short links on faucets then, claims were quick and easy, and with the help of a rotator you could collect between 150 000 sats and 200 000 sats in less than an hour. With the help of referrals, the total amount could rise to close to 1 million sats a day, which again was only $2.

There is actually no difference between earnings then and today, except that it is much harder to make a claim because of the short links that have become a major source of income for faucet owners.
