I just wanted from one of my coinomi wallet to another the ETH to ETC address. Stupid me!!!  Huh
I tried to recover using this advice on reddit but it still did not work.
I did not create the ETH wallet using BIP32 phrase same as destination ETC.

Any other advice?

https://www.reddit.com/r/COINOMI/comments/8esy22/sent_eth_to_etc_address/

The thread is closed on Reddit so I can not put anything.

If I were using exodus, there seems sweep feature available however I am not sure if it is possibel to transfer coinomi wallet to exodus using its 12-word phrase. I am going to try that now.

I think that you already lost your funds since the private key generates different addresses on the Ethereum network and Ethereum classic, so you can´t access with your ETH private key to your ETC address. It is similar to Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Reach them through Telegram. They are responsive there and maybe could lend you a hand and assistance. Read carefully the warning on their description to avoid talking to scammers.

I read a few messages from the telegram coinomi and how exodus wallet handle the same issue with only sweep the coins into ETH. Unfortunately, coinomi not provide any sweep feature on their wallets so could be hard for you.

You need to send them email to sweep or accessing your ETH on their ETC address, only they can do that's. I don't know did they can do that's, binance need required to pay some money for doing this.

If they cannot do that's for you, mean your fund already lose forever.

That’s a big mistake and there’s a lot of incidents like this before and I think Coinomi can’t help you on this.
Just try everything mate and you might still get that but the probability for this is very low so don’t expect that much. This is a reminder for everyone that we should double check or even more the details of our transactions and there’s should be no rush on sending your money.

I have experienced something similar like this, at that time I sent the wrong address from my MEW to the ETC address on my Kucoin account.

I realized then sent a message to the Kucoin admin but they said that they could not return the wrong funds I sent, I was lucky because the amount I sent incorrectly was not much.

You should try to send a message to the wallet admin, who knows they can help, but you also have to be ready if they say that your funds cannot be returned.

Coinomi can't do so much about it, it will be lost forever mate, unfortunate.

If you try to contact Coinomi, they would just respond that it is not their fault, well it was really yours tho but they can't recover it. You should have checked it thrice before sending, this happened to me before but it was on Bitcoin, I accidentally copied a BCH address, I know the consequence of my stupidity tho so I didn't contacted my wallet support  Roll Eyes Feels sorry mate.

I hope that it's not a huge fund that we are talking to. I experienced almost the same in an exchange, however I sent XRP with a wrong Destination Tag. I was able to fix this by contacting the exchange's support and my personal wallet's support. The only thing you can try is to contact their support, and if nothing could be done once you tried it, then say good bye to your funds.

That is why I check everything before sending, even if I had to do it 10 times I would, especially if it's a huge fund.

I think it's possible to recover the funds by using the recovery tool mentioned in one of their articles so you could retrieve the private key of the specific ETC address and try importing it in a different eth wallet to see if the balance shows up.

I experienced a balance issue with coinomi recently and followed the steps in that article just so I could spend some of my coins from a different wallet.
