What is the Tap Project?

The Tap Project is a revolutionary blockchain project that aims to decentralize the gaming industry by providing gamers and developers with options and opportunities when it comes to in-game virtual currencies; By allowing gamers opportunities to convert and transfer their in-game currencies across multiple platforms and games using the Tap platform. The Tap Platform allow users to connect the integrated games, earn Tapcoins (TTT) in exchange for virtual currency and connect their steam PC gaming accounts to convert steam achievements to TTT. Since 2017, the Tap Platform has emassed over 20K users and continues to grow.

April 2020, the Tap Project released the Tap N Go Rewards Beta. Tap N Go Rewards is a gamified micro-challenge system that rewards users for completing daily mobile game challenges, watching videos, and completing third party in-game tasks. Tap N Go incentivizes users by providing users with virtual in-game tokens, “Go Tokens”. Go Tokens are the in-game virtual currency used in the “Tap N Go” rewards app, connecting the necessary piece to the Tap Platform and ERC-20 token, Tap Coin. Since its launch the Tap N Go Rewards App has been downloaded on Google Play over 100K times.

The Tap Project has developed a plugin for both the worlds largest game development engines, Unity and Unreal this increases discoverability, engagement, cross-platform play and revenue for developers using a tiered transactional revenue model.

  Last week officially kicked off the launch of the Tapcoin on Uniswap . Uniswap provides the opportunity for token holders and users to permissionlessly provide peer-to-contract trading experience and swapability.
  
  However, being a liquidity provider on Uniswap carries its risk, and we believe that there is an opportunity for peer-to-contract systems and an opportunity to explore the many use cases of these methods.

  Today we are extremely excited to announce an experiment and trial period in which we will be running for the next four weeks to test whether protocol level incentives lead to a deep liquidity pool for the TTT/ETH pair on Uniswap — calling it TTT Membership Liquidity Rewards.
  
  As we continue to advance our entire ecosystem it is important to ensure that the on-boarding process and the ability to obtain TTT is easy for new members as it is for experienced ones. The Tap N Go Rewards app has done a great job in providing a small stepping stone for users in something they are familiar with and adding Uniswap to the mix, will only continue to be the case.
  
  Liquidity Round Details
  
  The first round of the TTT liquidity rewards program will commence on Tuesday September 1st , 2020 .
  
  Over a 30 day period, ending October 1st, 2020.
  
  Over the course of the 30 day period, the following rewards will be distributed based on address % to liquidity providers:
  - 5,000,000 TTT (5M) (distributed daily)
  - 10% of Tap Project commissions will be distributed to liquidity providers in the form of ETH.
  Simply, during this first round users will be provided with Tapcoin (TTT) and Ethereum (TTT) based on the address allocated %.
  
  If successful, we expect more Tapcoin liquidity reward programs to follow across other protocols such as Balancer. We are interested in experimenting with the peer-to-contract protocols and seeing where this may take the project.
  
  TTT/ETH liquidity on Uniswap v2
  - Amount: 166K TTT distributed daily, at random times to liquidity provider addresses — thus will be distributed based on % .
  - 10% of Tap Project network commissions distribute in ETH , at random times to liquidity provider addresses — thus will be distributed based on %.
    - Duration: September 1st 2020— October 1st, 2020

      How it works
      
      To stake and begin earning TTT liquidity rewards:
      - You must first provide liquidity to the TTT/ETH pool on Uniswap V2.
      - For providing liquidity you will receive UNI-V2 (UNI) tokens, which represent the tokens you have contributed to the pool. Uniswap will calculate your % in the pool and rewards will be distributed based on that.
        
        That’s it!
      Each day, TTT and ETH will be distributed to the Liquidity pool and addresses will receive the distributed amounts based on their Pool share.
      
      The specific distribution rules will be as follows:
      - TTT and ETH will be distributed based on each address’ percentage of the total UNI staked in the rewards contract.
        The amount of TTT and ETH rewards paid out are proportional to the balance of each address and time staked.
        Although deposits are open now, the rewards clock starts on September 1st 2020 and will run until October 1st 2020.
