What is the thing that distinguishes this device and makes it worth about $ 250? I have read the features, they are all normal and can be obtained at cheaper prices.
You can use another phone or buy a hardware wallet. I also remember that there are air gap phones that can be used. I will insert the link when I remember it.
Just it's size, and the fact that it is something different.
And since it's a phone vs. trezor / ledger / coldcard / etc. it can be remote wiped.
DaveF, if your main goal is to use multisig on as small a mobile phone as possible, then you are on the right track, but if you want something even smaller in size I suggest you take a look at
Unihertz Atom, which has only a 2.45-inch display.
The price starts at almost $400 on Amazon, but let's say it can be found below $250, if you look at sites like
this.
It's about the same size. The Atom is supposed to be rugged which looks interesting.
I don't see any features which emphasize security, it's no different with using your old or 2nd smartphone as your wallet.
In the end, what matters is your preferences when choosing device to store your multisig wallet.
I have been trying to figure out a better way then phone + laptop or phone + old phone.
Just saw the small phone and thought that it would be a neat concept.
