PM Modi’s Twitter Account Hacked

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's additional Twitter account which is linked to his personal website was hacked on the intervening night of September 2 and 3. Tweets appeared urging followers to make donations to 'PM National Relief Fund for COVID-19' through cryptocurrency.



Twitter confirms PM Modi's account compromised

The verified Twitter account, which is linked to PM Modi's personal website, has over 2.5 million followers. A Twitter spokesperson has confirmed having knowledge of the issue in response to the media query. Twitter said the microblogging website is taking steps to secure the compromised account. The tweets urging for donations and other related tweets have now disappeared, which seems to be the counteraction taken by Twitter over the breach.

"We are aware of this activity and have taken steps to secure the compromised account. We are actively investigating the situation. At this time, we are not aware of additional accounts being impacted", said Twitter spokesperson Twitter account of PM Modi’s personal website hacked.

That Cryptocurrency Bill must have got really fast tracked after this.  
Crypto, mainly BTC and ETH hacker's favorite currency it seems.
Lots of mixers to prevent coin tracking and hide behind anonymity.
Plus various place where it can be traded without getting linked to anyone.
Can someone check and see if addresses listed in the tweets received any coins?

BTW, why now? Now everyone acknowledged the recent twitter hack so I don't think no one ever gonna send funds in cryptos.

Can you paste that ETH address in text format to find is that address really received anything?

Some people might have still believed it since it came from PM's account and might have deposited. I think people shouldn't even deposit in to that fund with other means until proper audit is done on how much money was received, from whom and where was it spent but that's a different story.

I don't have the addresses in text, someone has to jot it down from that image above and check on block explorers. I am too lazy to do that.

This is no good to the crypto in country because now what has happened here is that the donation or money what the hacker want is in crypto and top officials in country just want reason to declare to people that this is not safe and when it can happen to PM and for the benefit of the country they may not want crypto to exist in country.

This type of things can make followers to get confused whether that tweet was made by PM or not. Till now I did not see any celebrity asking donation transfer through assignment writing help blog. If anything like that is there they will be asking you to donate through recognized nationalized banks.

Yesterday
