not all defi projects can generate much profit all need precision before investing it's the way I've been doing it so far if it can't do it you will experience a loss although defi is currently popular

Defi is currently popular and many are following the trend. But not all of them are profitable. Its up to us if we're going to ride on it despite the risk of losing our money.

Many projects do what they want, that's their right but they also have investors to respect. It seems like a lot of stupid project developers today. Investors should make their own projects rather than invest in obscure projects.

Some of them just want to create a shit project to scam other people who dont do their own research before investing. Well greedy investors usually fall into this trap.

I see this, since last week there have been many developers who switched themselves to the DeFi project, unfortunately they just took the name without implementing the DeFi concept itself. It's very sad for the growth of a new project if the developer behaves that way. Fine if the developer wants to create a Defi project but has to use the concept for project development, the current project defi condition is amazing. so please don't break the concept.

Investors are not so stupid to follow the obvious scam project but when you were asking them all directly and they will say they wanna try to make instant bucks from their money and that's why they were taking the super high risk project like ponzi finance project. You can't call them who created those scam ponzi as the developers but they are all scammers.

Agreed. Users need to admit that what happened in 2017 was a one-time bubble. I have seen a lot of experienced people investing in over-priced and shady ICOs, despite their projections being very unrealistic. There is nothing wrong in investing in new projects. But first the investor should study whether the project is viable and also whether the valuation is correct.

It happened, I've heard that the old project was revived by the developer using the Defi strategy. this can easily attract market investment, in fact investors have switched to investing their money in the Defi project. Defi at the present time now, no doubt it is very trending now. Some of the popular influencers in the society made a video and uploading it on Youtube and other to say that defi is a good one to choose. But to be honest other's said was true that not all coins in defi can give a nice profit in the end, it is still good to trade in cryptocurrency of course.

Even without defi, a great project actually can attract new investors join into their project.
This is why we should do our own diligence, there are many scam projects created to steal people's money.

it is what it is, they want easy fundraiser and easy money by making a defi project. they are using and following hype trend to make something so they look like they are not outdated, i don't really like the developers that only follow the current hype trend for an easier path, i consider those projects as a lazy one because they only want to make easy money

I would be interested in seeing an investors guide to defi on traits and things to look for.  All it would be nice to see some more sophisticated reporting on what the major projects are and what is happening in the space.  It may help to take out some of the wild wild west feel out of the space if there was some official third parties reviewing and reporting on it.

I keep thinking crypto assets should like gold have some negative beta like relationships to the market.  However, more often than not they seem to move in tandem.

This has been happening a lot especially the month, many developers  that change their projects to the Defi project are doing so to make them look promising and this is because of the hype of DeFi project.
Meanwhile not all the defi project that generate income. So if you found any project change, this should give you a sense of scam which means they don't have focus.

Yes, but in this case of course the project team knows the direction better, because basically they also want to make their project fully successful so they are willing to make minor changes for the progress of the project which of course does not escape their main goal.

If a dev just suddenly decided to change an already functioning project from the current nature to defi, such should be avoided because clearly it shows the dev does not have any direction except chase after any available trend that will fetch quick money, i don't think it will be that easy to change a project concept, goals from one day to the next, defi is not everything, it is about making a change or a difference with your project.

Not only greedy developers keep popping up, but more and more greedy investors are now emerging. Even now more and more
DeFi projects are appearing without a clear purpose. Right now, the developers are just taking advantage of the hype DeFi trend.
So what must be blamed are greedy investors, who continue to invest in DeFi projects without doing research and analysis first.
If there are many investors who are not greedy and don't invest in DeFi projects, then the number of greedy developers will

It is what they think is best for their project to also go with the defis because they are thinking that defi projects are all successful. But op is right to say that investors shouldn't rely depend on the developers if they create a defi, it's not an indication that it will become successful just because others became defi.
Often times, the investors are at fault.

Yeah they are considered ruthless that even bounty hunters had been fooled like collecting a small amount of fee to process the rewards like wtf? Are they really serious why there is a need to pay to process the bounty rewards? Now, it seems that they are restless creating more crypto projects inviting investors to invest in their project. I think scam projects had been identified already by tagging some of it in the bounties altcoin section where warning had been visible in top of the bounty thread.
