I remember few weeks ago when kucoin was hacked, smart investors came to understand that many DeFi projects are just for mouthing sake, nothing but empty promises, after kucoin got hacked majority of DeFi projects that got affected started switching there smart contract, what is that to you? They ruin the word 'decentralized' instantly without thinking twice.

Some are doing worse. Like Kper dev have done. He minted more token for the first time and dump the whole market and then he again mint more tokens to get some extra eth from the market. Any project with an anonymous team always looks suspicious to me.

This is another reason not to hold DeFi projects for long term purposes, they will died when you least expected, many of them are just taking advantage of investors because they knew every investors want to make money out of DeFi projects right now, I don't blame the project team but the investors who failed to take their time and do some deep research on the projects first.

I guess not all projects have greedy developers. First of all sometimes we also have the key so as not to be fooled, we need to be critical of the projects to be joined we should not depend on the promises of the developers so it is only right to be smart in choosing to avoid being fooled by real greedy developers.

Sorry to say pal but most DeFi projects are from scammers and those that aren't DeFi right from scratch probably switch because they want to take advantage of the DeFi hype only, if my curiosity is right im guessing they are here to make money for themselves by all means necessary, they have zero reputation to protect any way

It's not really "deceitfulness and scam" like you mentioned, projects adopting DEFI features to me is cool, even though some have ulterior motives. When it becomes unacceptable is when they drift entirely from the initial mission and vision of the project to DEFI, but if DEFI is an addition then its cool. Honestly I understand that most projects drifted to DEFI just to catch the hype, and cause price spike, thereby benefiting developers, but a few projects embedded DEFI products, still maintaining project aim.

I do not think there is shame anywhere in the crypto currency world; especiallly amongst developers; digitalbits are still pushing their projects despites failing to reward bounty hunters. Covir has switched and done all sorts and the project token cvr token won't even take a significant price rise. Its beyond greed though; and i will implore investors to understand when to take profits; it will help alot.

You are right, it's why I don't like the freedom that crypto gives, it's a free crime state out here, we can't expect all new crypto investors to be fully experienced without using crypto before or having any experience about how to know which project is good or bad, newbies is why I'm worried, they are going to keep falling for scam projects

You know, to some extent, I agree with you. The fact that the developers change their shoes and change direction in the direction of the trend raises many questions, especially when they have nothing to do with DeFi. This is very bad and puts their work in question. I would like to believe that most of these developers are doing it for good purposes. This is really unacceptable and the developers of that project are not worth living in this market, it worsens our reputation in Crypto market.
The switch from the normal project to the Defi when the trend comes is seen as an act of disrespect to investors and also shows that the CEO is just a fool like the crowd. They don't know that investors are getting smarter and smarter and never again caught in the same trap.
Projects that announce technology transfer to Defi are usually bad projects or scam projects, we should avoid it.

Both investors and developers are here to take advantage of the market, developers don't just create projects for the audience sake only, they have to fill their pockets in the process, ask yourself, what's free? Nothing, you gotta give something to take something in return, I believe that's how this world works, those projects that switch to DeFi all of a sudden can still get some people's pocket filled

I always tell people to be watchful before investing especially defi projects these days as lots of investors are in to loot and run.

I agree that more and more greedy developers are making scam projects for personal gain. Moreover, this year many developers
have made DeFi projects with no clear objectives, and only copycat. After the developer makes a profit they will immediately leave
the project. We can't tell them to stop making shit projects or scam projects, as long as they can generate profits they will keep
repeating his actions over and over. There is no other way we have to be careful in choosing crypto projects, do your research
properly before deciding to invest in new crypto projects.
