Banning apps for Border issues!

Most of you guys might heard that India and China is having border issues for a long time but in the recent times especially at the time of covid 19 China is trying to takeover the buffering border which is not meant for both countries and no one have to camp on such places.Lot of soldiers lost their lives due to the recent clash.

As a result of this India started to ban most famous 58 Chinese apps which includes apps like Tiktok,UC browser,Clean master which happen almost month ago.But again few days back there was some clashes between both armies which resulted further banning of 118 apps, importantly Pubg has been banned.India plays a big role in the game like Pubg and it also helped lot of youngsters to build their esports career but now it also banned.

Do you guys think this is the right way of attacking back?

India maintains that the McMahon Line, a 550-mile frontier that extends through the Himalayas, is the official legal border between China and India.

As blessed as China are, they are still fighting over border with India. China can not be satisfied with anything, even all they need is to dominate everywhere, even they want to dominate they world. That is why it is not surprising covid-19 is develped from a milatary lab in their country, focusing the virus on United States.

This border of a thing should not be a dispute between India and China. China should leave the border alone for them. I think with how China is blessed, why not leaving the border for India. But, that will be a problem, because China will want to dominate.

Do not mind me to add this. Countries borrowing from China, I will advice them to be careful. China needs power. It is better for the world to wake up, China could be a threat in the future.

Many small countries are under their trap for sure but India isn't in such position that is why they are trying to do something to dominate India, but India having support from all over the world inclusing countries like Japan,USA.Recently India made a deal with Japan related to investments so there will be lot of relaxations on the taxes for the countries moving from China to India, this is what China doesn't like to happen.

That is why it is not surprising covid-19 is develped from a milatary lab in their country, focusing the virus on United States.

Basing/directing your speculation on false news is not all too good, China was hit well by the covid-19 virus which was from Wuhan, -my issue is the virus was always there since last year but proper warning was to giving- and before the covid-19 virus hit China it has had effect on countries like Italy and Spain, so do away with this thought/speculation.

About banning an app -india banning Chinese app- this goes in both ways, Chinese apps will lose and indian users of the app, I think a more rational/and thought out approach can be used.

Be it China or not China the genesis or not the genesis of Covid-19, it is clear that they want to gain the world power. That said, to focus more on what the topic is all about, why can't China leave the border for India. That is a good point taken. China only focus on their country, they do not see things in another country's perspective. As powerful as they are with good natural resources and being the second country to have the largest economy, that is not enough for them than to be claiming what is not theirs. The border is not for China because of the points mentioned about. That is why I also commented that the countries China are borrowing money should be careful, before China will be claiming their resources. China only want to dominate the world and nothing more.

@akram143 while this is an interesting topic but most of the user’s here have no knowledge about Asian politics, as they’re more interested in US or Europe related politics, hence you should always share some links where they can read those links and understand what you’re referring too.

Also coming back to your question India knows that it cannot risk starting a physical war with China in a pandemic year, and the only way to hurt China was to hurt them economically, and therefore they brilliantly banned apps like Tiktok and Pubg.

Further my Indian friends have told me that India plans to replace Pubg with their in-house game FauG, so this way India is making more revenue from Indian gamers, and at the same time they’re making sure that China suffers economic losses due to the ban imposed on Tiktok, and Pubg.

Lastly in my personal opinion India has won the battle without firing a single bullet, and in the process they have made sure that China’s image is damaged globally.

I thought most people aware of India China border issue because the issue has been covered by USA main stream media than Indian shit media and also most world leaders commented about China's action when whole world is under pandemic condition.

How can we consider this as a win against border issue? This might affected those company a lot but for the government this is going to be a very minor blow.

These companies contribute so much for the Chinese economy, they are a very essential part of the countries macroeconomics so it's not just a blow to the company, but for the country's economy. That being said, these China and India border issues could eventually escalate into a military war between the two countries, there have been few clashes between both army, but the war is more on an economic level now. China are famous for spying into other countries and this apps are one of the ways they do that, India are shutting them out from their country and ensuring the Chinese economy isn't benefiting from India or it's citizens, good move.

Clearly the Indian youth should support China so that they can quickly become their colony and go back to playing pubg.

You seem to be describing a cultural war, in addition to, the actual conflict. I think some people called it 4th gen or something.

But culture spread has something humanity and civilization has been doing for millennia. And also the purges, the book burning, and the tragic irrecoverable losses.

Romans under Julius Cesar destroyed the great library of Alexandria. Americans under Bush destroyed the library of Baghdad. The centuries pass but the stupidity remains. The Chinese did the same thing to themselves, not just Mao, but the ancient emperors...

So the gov tries to stop the "evil influence of", and somehow produces the opposite effect (Streisand?). Its like when the church banned books, or the State ie. communist books. The Nazis banned Jazz and stuff.

Or if this game moves money, maybe its a bit of a commercial war too, old fashioned protectionism. Perhaps they banned Chinese imports too? Or use absurd taxes?

It is clear that Pubg mobile and all other apps are making money with the help of Indian customers but if they want to protect their citizen's data then they can't really allow any apps into their country even google itself spying you all the time.

There is no ban on Chinese imports and still Chinese brands like Xiaomi and oppo are the most used smart phone brands by middle class Indian people because they are giving the product for cheaper rates than premium brands and it is not possible for now to ban those imports as well.
