A good politician knows how to handle both conviction and emotion in any situation given. He/she must know how to balance this characteristics and follow what he thinks right with the supports and recommendations of his/her colleague.

Apart from these 2 characteristics, a good politician has the ability to accept the state of what he represents, and has the will to listen to the voices of the people.

Sounds amazing, alot makes a good politician first of all I would like to reference a saying which says "charity begins at home" so I feel this explains a lot a good politician should be:
Well trained
Good characters
He/she should be able to solve others problem
A good politician must be ready to listen to any complaints
And also he/she must be smart and be able to handle situations.
