There is so much fear in the crypto market right now. Taking a look at coinmarketcap now, it's scary to see how much of a dump we have now. Everyone complaining in different groups of loosing a lot of their portfolio to the dump.
I feel your pain. Trust me, it will not last long, everything will be over soon and we shall all smile again. Just hold Strong. We might just be able to smile sooner than expected. Nothing to panic over based on history of crypto. History will surely repeat itself.

I like your being optimistic . It is not good to look at on the market right now, everything was like in a bloodbath. If you panic and sell your holdings then there's no doubt you will definitely lose. Who would have thought of selling their holding right now seeing how most of the coins in the market plummet unless you were dumb enough. Nothing to be panic if you were truly an investor then these dumps are nothing and you already knew what exactly to do in this situation. Things will be over soon just have your patience mate.

The word panic can only be applied to investors with lack of knowledge, or traders who don't know how to minimize the risk when the market is dumping.  First, know your purpose, if you are a trader and you have capital to trade for short term, you should know how to minimize the risk, you can't be profitable all the time and bitcoin can't be bullish all the time, so if it will dump, you have to cut lose and then wait again until the market will start to be bullish and go with the flow by buying and riding with it.

Panic makes people decide by their emotion and will lead their analysis become useless.

The dump in the market is quite discouraging and I feel really sad because I anticipated a bullish trend this period. I really do hope that the market correction does not last too long. We all need to be patient with the market and before long this correction would pass away.

Patience is the last choice and sometimes it happens by force, because patience has a limit for everyone, and being disappointed because of a decline in prices in the market is something that has often been experienced by other people, especially traders and investors, so wait for a miracle if that is the case there is.

What we can do right now is to hold and wait for the coins that we're holding to be on track again. I know that it wont take too long before the price bounce back since the market is high volatile. Have lots of patience and dont think of how much you lose when it comes to value, as long as you're not selling there's a high chance of getting it back.

Its a good thing to hold strong in this period since no one can tell what the market can or could turn out to be holding panic sale is not  the best option but also while we hold we should ensure to hold potential coins that would yeild good returns or profit.

I agree with this point. don't hold all kinds of coins, because we will lose value in the wallet. We should hold on to altcoins that have been tested for feasibility. It can be seen in the top CMC.

Yes, and the average coin or token that has been multiplied is in the top 10 ranking in CMC to be held in the long term, the rest is only suitable to be owned for a short term, this is to minimize the risk of loss that can occur at any time

I wouldn't hold any shitcoin rather than top coins that can give gains. We'll aware about the market volatility and those conditions should be monitor whenever we choose coins to invest, there are good outstanding coins that has ability to regain loss within a few Period of time while there are some that can't do same. It's pointless to hold shitcoins because no matter how strong you hold it it's still a shithole.

Do not be a victim of hold. If you had earn from the bitcoin pump then you can sell it right away and wait for the market to crash and for bitcoin to buy again. However, if you like to be greedy and wait for more pump then it will going to take time before it will going to happen. If you can wait that time without compromising your financial capabilities then that would also do good. Just get to analyze everything before making a decision. Do not worry of the downtrens especially if you are new because that is just normal and everything can bounce back again but it may depend on the market for sometimes it take just few days, weeks, months or even years. This is what is cryptocurrency and the essence of holding crypto.

Holding strong to a straw is almost impossible. This is how the crypto market works. Only the strong will survive. If you have small amount of money invested in crypto, your chance of making it is slim to none. This is whales' world.      

If you are holding the best coins, then do not have to worry much as market will recover and your coin’s price will also grow, and you will recover the losses or profits will rise withe rise in price. Only thing is in crypto volatility is high so rise and fall is the part of it. So always invest which you can hold for long term and do not require immediate money.

indeed there is still the potential to repeat events like in 2017 but it seems that it may not be easy to happen because so far the price of bitcoin has difficulty increasing prices plus there are tough competitors from YFI who can beat bitcoin, cryptocurrencies have price movements depending on the price of bitcoin, so wait until there is good news that can give bitcoin prices a chance to recover, then the moment of 2017 will be easy to repeat.

Hopefully what you hope will happen, because many of us are currently in fear of seeing a market that is in a negative trend but I personally hope that the defi system will be able to push up prices on other cryptos in the market, of course now We invest a lot in alt coins outside the defi system such as eth, tron, lite coin and so on, we don't know that in the future the DeFi system will be able to push the alt coin price up or even make the price fall even more, we'll see what happens in the future.

Off-course mate, we can't wait for the historical event of Bitcoin to be unveil to us like of old. Holders of cryptocurrencies will make the best out of the market when Bitcoin hit it high nodes all time. Am currently holding some good coins and stashing of Bitcoin from my previous investment, bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency investment which to me is reliable when patience is involve in the process. Holding of cryptocurrency is very reward for long-term and not just for holding sakes.

He didn't generalized with Defi and we're all assuming that he's talking about the portfolio that we have, it could be related to defi but most likely not. Both of your advice are correct.
For the defi investors, it's the right thing to do and that's to take your profits.

And for the traditional investors, it's safe to hold if you can't attain to look at the markets. But if your guts tells you to sell, don't feel regret once again if it starts to increase after the correction.

Yes, the third quarter should not be the end for bitcoin, and possibly the fourth quarter is the beginning for bitcoin to rise to its highest price at the end of 2017, because the price of bitcoin that has fallen in recent days is purely a correction for bitcoin to continue its bullish trend,
