I read this today on bbc news.

1. India overtakes Brazil in the number of infections recorded, and is now second only to the US
2. India recorded more than 90,000 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours
3. The UK could see a second wave if young people don't follow social distancing rules, health secretary says
4. Two England football team players are dropped from the team after breaking quarantine guidelines in Iceland
5. Australia secures almost 85m doses of a vaccine to be rolled out next year if trials prove successful

The number of infections in not a rate to be considered as how much India has a serious problem with Covid.
India has a huge population and it is normal to see them being in the second place behind the US.
The most odd part is how China is not showing any more numbers regarding Covid...

Understanding the infection studies is impossible with only the numbers of infections. We also need to see how many tests were done, and how many test kits were sold to the prospective nations.

I think it's more about Japan or Korea - they've been wearing masks for long time already. And I think it's possible that China aren't showing real numbers - they want to show how well they handled pandemic compared with USA.

It also depends how to interpret stats. Number of total cases looks huge from first glance. But I can give example from my country. There is 3000 total cases confirmed. Government and media are spreading panic about virus. But there is over 660 000 tests were made. What is conclusion - just only 0.5% of tested people had coronavirus.
And yeah, people are tired to live in "new normal" reality for half year, they want to return to their usual rhytm of life. And people realize that virus isn't as dangerous as they thought in in March and April, so they aren't following guidelines given by governments anymore.

OK, I guess the answer is obvious.

You are right about this. From what I know, so far a vaccine is created from a virus (adenovirus) that resemble coronavirus, with the vaccine that had undergone the second phase. Although, I am not implying the vaccine is accurate. But, that so far it is a vaccine, then it is obvious that anyone that the virus had infected and were able to recover have the immunity against the virus. Because, their body immune system had already developed the natural immunity.

Also, it is worthy to know that this virus is killing people with co-morbidity(s). The immune system of people that are healthy is able to fight the disease, and also in the process, they developed natural immunity against the it.

Number 7 is a big concern,it's a big number to consider and we are still months away from vaccine, there's possibility of additional 40% or even higher before we have the vaccine ready, even if there's strict protocols counties are having hard times to lower the number because of to much congestion in every cities and financial security in times of quarantine is also a big concern, after this pandemic people will start saving.

Too bad one of the most promising vaccins is paused because a test person got ill. There were already testing it in fase 3. Let's hope the person didn't got ill due the medicine.

the VACCINE was given to a bunch of people. and so far one person had an adverse reaction.
there is no 'test'

its just monitoring people for a few months.
the other people vaccinated will be monitored as usual

Sweden Close To Victory Over Coronavirus; Never Had A Lockdown Or Mask Mandate

The country now has one of the lowest infection rates on the planet, and it's difficult not to admire how it has handled the past year, with no strict lockdown or compulsory face mask rules. All businesses, schools and public places remained open in Sweden for the duration.

"Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one," Sweden's senior epidemiologist Dr. Anders Tegnell commented to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

"What we see now is that the sustainable policy might be slower in getting results, but it will get results eventually," Tegnell clarified.

"And then we also hope that the result will be more stable," he added.

Tegnell previously warned that encouraging people to wear face masks is "very dangerous" because it gives a false sense of security but does not effectively stem the spread of the virus.

I don't think China is saying the truth with their reported cases,moreover they said they don't consider asymptomatic cases are corona affected cases, so they are lying nation not the disciplined one.They made this covid 19 into a huge business but at some point they got backfired and the still issues going on between China and lot other nations.
