but surely I will join this one.

At first I really thought the Prizes went down for Digital Art, didn't know they seperated it for each category...  And also thanks for the links.

Does it mean every participant can also submit another entry to another art category using of course only one account?

You are correct Maus! You are free to submit work in each category (has to be different though not just making a digital version of something you drew by hand). So if you are super talented you can go ahead and submit one work per category

I am planning on making a traditional artwork(hand drawn) if there's gonna be another art contest but, you make a category on each medium this month, I guess I will stick on animation haha. Thank you again Hhampuz and Roobet! It's so nice to see my work here 

You are allowed to join all the categories Yatsan, if the work in each one is different and not just a variation of what you previously made

Either way, I'm looking forward to what you will make next!

I wanted to have unqie and fresh logo this time so came up with whole new concept of embedded sticks to form illusion of ROOBET logo. Added fresh blue color on the board to give immense look to it.

Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the 19th century's British Victorian era or American "Wild West" and incorporate mechanical parts and fantasy alongside old futuristic and Victorian elements like hot air balloons, light bulbs, wings and pipes.

Technique: STEAMPUNK ART


Materials: this unique piece of art  was created from various scrap metal items welded together to create a usable piece of art: the important thing about steampunk projects is not necessarily the material of the items you add but their style and look. For example use cogwheels made of chipboard is better than using hearts made of metal because cogwheels are consistent with the steampunk style and hearts not so much. Steampunk is all about mechanical, industrial and grunge that means lots of cogwheels, screws, clock parts, mechanical parts etc.

Having said that metal parts are a key ingredient in any steampunk project for these reasons:

UNIQUE: there are some items that you can only get in metal for example clock parts or hinges.
TEXTURE: metal parts, especially found items, have sometimes a texture of rust and grunge you can only find on metal and that's the base of steampunk!
SHAPE: some 3D parts like pipes, screws and mechanical parts are only made from metal.
COLOR: metal has a distinct color of copper, gold or silver that you need for a steampunk project.

Size: 15,7" x 15,7" inches - 40 x 40 cm

PS: Would be great for displaying as interior decor (at home, in the office). Perfect gift for that special someone whose hard to shop for. .

GRATITUDE
First, I'll like to thank Mr. Roo and the team behind this contest not excluding my fellow craftmen to have made this more of a compitition as one cannot really compit against himself in this regard.

ABOUT DESIGN
Every artist have got a mindset behind his/her design and that's what brings forth the beauty in it, the interpretation behind each piece and what they represent.
My Craft is chiefly the logo of Rooney.com platform and I personally walked that path based on what a logo basically stands for as the trademark or identity of an organization, corporation, institution or even a nation in it's simplest form. So, my design was based on the Roobet.com logo which is a betting platform and as such, I took the liberty to incorporate a little detailing by representing some of it's gaming categories or platforms within it's logo so, as to give a concrete idea and interpretation to even a numb or layman of what the platform is all about.

* Firstly, the entire logo is formed into a ROULETTE as seen at the top, represented with a pointer
* Secondly by the DICE, following an anticlockwise direction
* Thirdly, your approached by the MINE, heavily represented with a grenade
* Forthly, the BLACK JACK (BK Jack) which is represented by a playing card and lastly but not the least,
* The fifth game which is the BACCARAT (Bacarat) which is represented by the casino token.
* It has a dollar sign at the bank to imply that, you play to win, the game always comes before the money as an interface of you to your winnings and we play for the money.
* It also carries the name of the CEO Mr. Roo on its stand to represent the idea and building block of the platform.
* The colors where chosen to represent as close as possible, the actual colours of each playing instrument.

MATERIALS USED
Wood, Knife cutter, Wood pulish and Oil paint
Note: The process was completely done by hand

PURPOSE/USES
The Craft piece was created to by varying and multipurpose in it's usage.
1. It could be placed on a desk as an office furniture or displayed in a show room/glass
2. It could be hanged on the wall also for beautification
3. It could be awarded to a bettor, investor or pattern as what I like to call, a WOODAL in contrast to medal as it could be worn on the neck or used as well for the variant of purpose for which it could serve and more.
