I just noticed recently that Huobi.com listed YFI, very cool seems they are stepping it up in the DeFi space. Can anyone help me understand the difference between YFI and YFII?

YFII is the fork of yEarn project (YFI). YFII total supply is some what around 39k where as YFI has a supply of 30k. Check the blog post by boxmining to know more about the YFII project. https://boxmining.com/yfii-yield-farming/

So you're gonna buy this just because it is a fork of yearn finance? I suggest you to at least research it first and find out why it should develops further. Take a look at the recent market where a lot of defi tokens are being rug pulled one another by the team or whales.

Yearn.finance (YFI) was created by Andre Cronje, a developer DeFi in YFI universe. Yearn.finance (YFI) was forked multiple times in July and August, DFI.money (YFII) was one of a fork of YFI project with YIP-8 implement.

It is very easy to distinguish between the two tokens, even though they are both born through the DeFi system, but the two tokens have different prices, different volumes and different websites, so for more details you can directly visit their two websites, the following are the link: https://yearn.finance/ (YFI) https://dfi.money/#/ (YFII)

YFI and YFII is a potential scam. the farming trend is reducing market activity and it is now very dangerous to invest in these projects. If you have not read this topic, then definitely check it out. This is a very risky investment. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5268573YFI already has many forks, I definitely don't want to waste time learning every new shit. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272887.msg55108955#msg55108955

I think use google search is not a tough task https://coinrivet.com/what-is-the-difference-between-yfi-yfii-yfv-and-yfl/YFII YFV YFL and YF+other alphabet is just a YFI forks. All of forks is fake, it's just like BTC with BCH or BSV. I just noticed recently that Huobi.com listed YFI, very cool seems they are stepping it up in the DeFi space. Yes, it's vERy CoOl. After few month(s) later especially when DeFi hype ended, and all of DeFi token got massive crash. Leon Li will react "DeFi is high risk, we only list and not suggest people to buy it" ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

YFII is a fork from YFI just like some forks of bitcoin. It has been listed also in many platforms that YFI is listed and trading volume and price seems to have dropped in the past few days. I think huobi are monitoring closely the defi and decision to list YFI must have been because they also want traffic going to defi to also come to their trading platform and choosing YFI is not a bad idea because it seem it is one of the most decent defi project right now

Cool?
Not anymore.
Before, during the early days of Defi. An exchange that accepts them sounds cool. But today, I don't think that I'll be having that kind of reaction to say that huobi or any exchange that accepts a defi to be cool.
Binance is no longer cool when they've accepted those pump and dump defi.

Defi is a cool idea - no matter if the price pumps or not
I rather use Huobi - less risk and less gas cost. They have most of the tokens.
Uniswap is going to die as soon as most people realize that 90% of the tokens people are farming or buying will die with the majority of people losing money with HIGH trading cost.
Huobi is only picking the best of the bunch -
