It's an instant red flag when you see such a long post coming from a brand new account.

If you check that account post history you will see that prior to that plagiarised post he made one post in Pzm cash, well known ponzi scheme that is shilling their own announcement thread.
One of the reasons why that topic that started with plagiarism grew 8 pages is the fact that a lot of other sock puppet newbie accounts that are posting there are also part of the bumping service, working on several other threads like DSF and Fetch.ai.
Tbh, it doesn't make much sense to bump topic like that, but who knows why are they doing that. Maybe they are just "building up" accounts  activity.

You have two choices, either you report the thread directly or you post it in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 regarding of his plagiarism act. For sure that will be nuked instantly.

I'd rather go with the former since I do that most of the time and clearly the thread wasn't even given a credit where he found that article but the latter should do as well, your choice.

If you saw such kind of posts, just directly click "report to moderator" button or post it on the topic that rhomelmabini mentioned above. I assure moderators would take an action asap to punish the users who made plagiarized posts.

It may be a bit off-topic, yesterday I also reported a user (direct report) who did spamming up to 2 posts/minute and plagiarism as well. No need many times since I reported him/her, a few hours later I saw he/she already got auto-banned. You can see posts history of the user I'm talking about here.

One of example of his/her plagiarized post:
Plagiarism (archive)
I checked your posts and I did not found any of them that deserve one single merit. Posts in bounty thread reporting link, are in the rank of spam. it is not read by managers either and especially not old high ranked members or merit sources. When you post in other section than bounty, it's mostly part of some pointless discussion on useless mega threads, which also no one reads or is interested in. These threads serve to fulfil post quota for signature campaigns.
You need to stop with posting just to write something here, try to be active in discussion and talk with other members here. As @Bttzed03 says, find something that is close to your personal interests and find topics about it, then discuss there, be constructive. It can be gambling, poker or whatever.

Posting plagiarized content against forum rules, this isn't related to the trust system. So we can't do anything about it and only moderators can take appropriate actions. So please report your evidence on meta in this thread. If OP can't prove that author of the source isn't he/she, then most likely he will get a ban.

..

it is very difficult for me to understand what the purpose of such posts is. Why copy/paste a post in the same thread, activity or bigger post count does not mean anything without merit earned, here is no rank upgrade or any benefit from this post. So why are people doing things like this?
also, if they just read a bit on the forum, there is no possibility that he is not aware of the fact that is here zero tolerance on plagiarism.

It's an instant red flag when you see such a long post coming from a brand new account.
It's unfortunate, but true, and it's been that way for at least the last five years on bitcointalk because the average newbie even back then couldn't put together a post like the one linked to in the OP if they were given a year to try.  The sad fact is that the vast majority of newbies are referred to the forum by other members who've told them about bounties and such.  That generally leads to them trying to post in English, which a lot of them don't know, and thus a lot of them resort to blatant plagiarism in the hopes that they won't get caught.

You have two choices, either you report the thread directly or you post it in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 regarding of his plagiarism act. For sure that will be nuked instantly.
I wouldn't even bother posting in that thread.  If you find an instance of plagiarism, just report it to the mods and they'll handle it.  Chances are there's more examples of plagiarism to be found in that member's post history, too, so it's worth taking a look and making a couple of reports.

People who post in those megathreads are only worried about getting +1 post to trigger their activity count. Nobody is really talking in those megathreads, they are basic writing without reading anything.

As this thread is clearly plagiariased from the OP, could be nuked by a moderator and the OP account banned.

Has someone actually reported the post to the mods for plagiarism or are simply brainstorming over it??

First no need to ever create a reputation thread, when it's as simple as report to moderator " Plagiarism" from <Insert link>"

Seeing as you might be on a path of cleaning up the forum I'll mention this. If anywhere you come across a thread that is longer than 4 or 5 pages, there's a good chance it's well on it's way to becoming a spam mega thread. I used to read the first couple pages then it was rather easy to report anyone generally posting within the last week (Campaign payment period). This was generally <Sig Spam - Redundant repetitive content> or something along those lines. I would also request the thread be locked if there wasn't anything of value in the last few pages.

This was when I had very long uneventful nightshifts and could bang out 60-100 reports in an evening. Generally stopping because of the mind numbing dribble I had to read over and over. there is no shortage of reportable posts.
