between good to see this project here in forum, I have heard about this project for some time now and never thought would see it here since the founder is an influential person in the entertainment industry, plus there is a bounty campaign as well, can't miss this chance.

There are very few Africa based crypto projects, but i think this is the good revolutionary project then previous projects, I hope that this will grow fast and help in development of economy as well. This project will help africans to live good life with this project.

Okey got you, only that it will be a little confusing for those who would not view it from your point, anyways was going to ask why make it a self moderated thread! Usually threads like this are often regarded suspicious because perhaps the team are afraid to receive criticism from forum members hence they will create a self moderated thread in other to have those type of post deleted.

Usually, celebrities stay away from crypto space, but I believe this team is a capable one - after all, they brought Akon to the project! im really surprises to know about this just now. I do make a research about this project and i think the project do have a lot of eyes watching this project now. A lot of support seem from the whole of world and i cannot deny this project is a mega project to be done.

Project is going to list on big exchange, that is expected judging by the level of the founder, Akon is a celebrity and very influential so I won't expect anything less from this project, in fact I have heard about it before, and am really impressed with the work Akon is doing for Africa regarding solar power to the communities who don't have access to electricity, very innovative work, this is what blockchain is all about.

Hello, why would you choose Stellar network? For me and many newcomers it is more complicated user interface than Ethereum has. I understand that for now Stellar is faster and cheaper, but in few months situation could change.

Hello, why would you choose Stellar network? For me and many newcomers it is more complicated user interface than Ethereum has. I understand that for now Stellar is faster and cheaper, but in few months situation could change. 

The congestion that is always happening in ethereum network when the traffic was so high due to the defi traders can be the main reason but i think that's not a big problem since there are so many stellar assets already exist in the market too. If the creator is also wanna taking the hype that is still happening in ethereum and it can also swap its token anytime.

I thought that the team has already taken a lot of considerations before try to choose the stellar platform as its tokenization platform.

Yes situation could change but yet again, currently Stellar looks more viable than Ethereum blockchain in term of processing transactions. Seriously it is disheartening paying more than neccessary for gas fees on Ethereum blockchain, and the situation looks like it going higher each day, so therefore I do not blame any upcoming projects leveraging other blockchains. Therefore in my own humble opinion, the team did well by using Stellar, maybe in the near future when everything calms down with Ethereum blockchain they can migrate if it's okay with the team.
Lastly, the idea of the project is one which will play a huge role in most African countries; this I believe because the team backing the project are one of a kind and have the neccessary experience.

yes of course but all decisions are arranged by the AKOIN project team, if they want to migrate to erc-20 of course they will get a lot of positive praise, obviously we can see the best erc-20 blokchain to date, it's just that lately the transaction fees are very is high

I would agree that tx fee will be the main reason of choosing stellar over ethereum. This project is about integrating their token into daily life, as a means of payment etc. It'll scares people away if they have to pay stellar amount of gas fees (pun intended) just to do daily life transaction. That, and the transaction process time, eth are more prone to clogging. Once again, as their token will be used for daily life transactions, processing time will be a crucial thing. Thus, as Indo1 said, I think choosing stellar over ethereum is already a good decision
