Hello, why would you choose Stellar network? For me and many newcomers it is more complicated user interface than Ethereum has. I understand that for now Stellar is faster and cheaper, but in few months situation could change.  

Yes situation could change but yet again, currently Stellar looks more viable than Ethereum blockchain in term of processing transactions. Seriously it is disheartening paying more than neccessary for gas fees on Ethereum blockchain, and the situation looks like it going higher each day, so therefore I do not blame any upcoming projects leveraging other blockchains. Therefore in my own humble opinion, the team did well by using Stellar, maybe in the near future when everything calms down with Ethereum blockchain they can migrate if it's okay with the team.
Lastly, the idea of the project is one which will play a huge role in most African countries; this I believe because the team backing the project are one of a kind and have the neccessary experience.

I own few Stellar tokens and I can say, that all of them died probably because it was hard to teach newcomers how to use Stellar platform. At first, you need to send XLM to an address to activate it and secondly you need to allow specific domain to receive tokens, that is much more complicated, than using Ethereum .

I think it is better this way, there is always a first time so I would suggest you try and get yourself acquainted with the stellar network to understand it, i also think it is high time other project start shifting from over congested eth network to other easy and less expensive network in blockchain,

I don't see the point why many projects won't use other network when we have different options available,  eth is killing us with high transaction fees and I don't think it will reduce anytime soon.

Although it still shows the potential of Ethereum network but also it tends to discourage some people especially new investors because they will tend to ask themselves if it's worth it spending huge amount on fees.
Nevertheless, Akoin project team can still migrate to another blockchain, maybe back to the Ethereum blockchain later in their project life but in my own opinion, I think it's wise starting with Stellar first so that new investors will be able to cast their full support without being discouraged by high gas fee.

though stellar network is not popular among crypto users, but it's true that we need to use other network other than eth because of the unreasonable gas fees. it is the same feeling when we started to use eth network, we tried to understand how things work. so with stellar. and if we wont start today, then when? so i guess, stellar is one good option for them to explore their opportunities in crypto. we should not stick to only one option, we may discover the benefits of using stellar in this journey...

It's caused by the demand and instant listing in the uniswap. Just take a look at so many new defi coins that are getting listed on uniswap and get big pump.

That could be the main reason why even when the fees is nonsense to be paid by the users to create a small tx and so many coins are still using ethereum as the parent chain.

Some people above me were providing very good suggestion for akoin.

Could someone tell me about where this coin launch its IEO? I can't find any information regarding this.

I found that people are participating in this project and wants more news about launch day, IEO listing etc. I felt that Akoin for African and beyond will satisfy top investors in crypto community.
