What will happen to bitcoin on a world war?

If world war should happen, God forbid, will you have time for your bitcoin? Everyone including the miners and admins will begin to look for safety. Won't the war destroy the network masts? And when those masts are destroyed internet become distorted and there won't be free movement of network. It's is better there is no world war so we can enjoy our bitcoin in peace.

Fiat does not immediately loses its value during the war, it is more of a gradual depreciation.

Correct, even there's incidents like this fiat will continue to depend from how the entire situation inside the country.
the value will take place if the economy is really worsen and it follows  the outcome.

Bitcoin will still be useful unless the physical networks where it travels is damaged, maybe post war, that will decide whether there is still value left because the war might have cause nuclear fallout.

Internet can be damage if the country really being hit by the war, bitcoin may not be useful without it. though the chances
is not really high but possibilities are there.

I think when war happens, bitcoin will be the least thing that I could think of, better focus on surviving because no use, having millions if you can't enjoy it.

Guys, don't overthink. You are thinking as if the whole world will be affected, that all 200 countries and territories. If a nuclear holocaust happened there would be places in the pacific ocean, oceania, south america, and africa that will be spared from the madness. And the survivors will simply relocate to those places if they can. The internet would still be existing and bitcoin would still run as there might still be people mining it from the countries that are not affected by a world war.

it is because people will be in a panic mode and they are going to prioritize thier life/safety but there can be small number of people that will think of what will happen to thier btc becuase they are afraid that they are going to be one of the casualties . they could have traded it or sold it in these last minutes  . dunno if its the loan is the reason why there are world wars but i think its because of power and they want to own to expand their teritories . loaning can be possible to rebuild the economy after wars . i did a research and found out that there is only a tiny chance for the ww3 . i guess our btc are safe

The government could also use it to purchase weapons and such. On the other hand, there will some consequences as well. My expectation is different from the others because in the history, whenever there is a war; all of the financial markets are crashing one each other where all of the investors are afraid and pulling their money out. Bitcoin is part of the financial instruments and markets that are also prone to crashes, I think that when the world war happen again; most likely the investors will pull their money or they will cash out because they will be afraid wherein they need also cash and for me their withdrawing can be a reason for the bitcoin to go down. There will be also effect on fiat money so I do not also suggest it but in terms of safe haven asset like Gold, it can be a good way to store money there because the probability of losing its value is very low unlike in cryptocurrencies it is so volatile where there are manipulators that can dump the price whenever they want.

What will happen anyone can't say at this moment. But I guess there will be a huge loss in the world. The world economy will be destroyed for a period. The digital currency will hamper and its future will hang in uncertainty. And many more can happen but it is not expected for the generation.

In my opinion, if there is a World War, then Bitcoin will be more useful and needed by many people and the price of Bitcoin will be
even more expensive. Because transactions with fiat will be difficult to happen, because world war usually does not accept foreign

That would be correct since people would just use Bitcoin as another form of Currency in which you can purchase weapons and protection. Bitcoin would be a useful tool since people would just go around stealing money and if you have an electronic wallet which is hard to penetrate without the credentials of the owner, it would be a secured way of owning money.

That would be the most appropriate time hold and utilize bitcoin. If you need to cross a border, you won't be able to take piles of cash or gold. Prices will likely to vary widely in different locales, as borders are shut and the global markets stop functioning.

In my opinion, a world war is literally the worst thing that can happen to humanity, with or without bitcoin.

Wars happen because countries can't pay up their debts, so they "pay up" this way. (Again, in my opinion, no misunderstandings)
In a war, the fiat loses its value. I had a discussion with a friend about what could happen to bitcoin in a war. He said that it will surely collapse. I am not so sure about it.

Although, think about it for a while. In a world war, the last thing someone has is access to the internet. Would bitcoins lose their value?

History has shown that gold is the money that "reborns" fiat. At least after a war. I would like to read some thoughts.

In case of a war Bitcoins price will rise maybe because after the war a lot of Bitcoins will be declared as "lost" due to deaths of some hodlers, enthusiasts and traders all over the world. Meaning, supply will become more scarce as tens to hundreds or even millions of people are perished and affected in that situation including whales and institutions that are unable to recover their Bitcoin funds in the same amount. After a war if we ever survive and recover our funds we just need to wait until internet and local exchanges will be restored and use it to start a new life again. Unlike hoarding fiat and precious metal which is life threatening even without war, how much more in the midst of a war.

It is difficult to find a year on our planet without a war. Probably such a human nature. In our time of high technology, world war is very easy to ignite. There is now a lot of evidence to support the fact that previous human civilizations had much more advanced technology than we have now. We find descriptions of the use of nuclear weapons and evidence of their use many millennia ago. Each time, humanity has to rebuild almost from scratch. It is possible that after some time the bow and arrows will again become the most formidable weapons. So far, human history has been constantly repeating itself.

It's called world war because there are conflicts on more than one continent but many people including my grandparents lived through the war without being drafted or having to hide in the basement from bombs. In my opinion, bitcoin is not affected by world wars because you can buy something anytime you want. whereas you could also transact in between the critical areas, I think it would be more helpful when it comes to financial assets.

 this is world war and world wars are global with destructive weapons involved ex. nuclear and if nuclear hits it will damage everything including signals that is used to access the internet to do bitcoin transaction but if we are dealing with the normal wars that we hear and see in the news that is still possible for us to use bitcoin but wars are still wars and it can threaten people  .
