I don't know what is going on, i haven't used Binance for more than a year and now i want to check some alts I bought in 2017 but it looks like i can't go back in my order history.

If i try to set a starting date like 2017, it comes an error that sais that the ending date is with more than 3 months difference and reset the date to the current one.
If i change the end date, comes an error that the ending date cannot be before the start one.

Complete chaos.

Found an workaround, going back 2 monts first on start then on the end date and repeat until i reached 2017 but its ridiculous.

Please if someone can check it the Order History has the same issue or it's just me...

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I checked the application (on android) and had a same problem.

I also checked the web version. It works with no problem. It even allows you to select a range bigger than 3 months. But the problem is that, it doesn't show trades older than 2 years. So, it's impossible to check trades you made in 2017.

I don't know what you are exactly trying to do. If you are trying to know what alts you had bought, it may be helpful to check your transaction history instead and see all your withdrawals. (If you had withdrawn those alts off course.)

If you meant;
this [ https://www.binance.com/en/my/orders/exchange/usertrade] or this [ https://www.binance.com/en/my/orders/exchange/tradeorder]
Then even the web version too has the 3 months limit but it's easy to pick the 3 month-ranges as compared to the App. I just checked mine. Maybe the reason they did this is to avoid their servers from getting overloaded.

OP, Alternatively you can simply export your trading or order history using a function in the page after opening the Trading or order history tabs on the web version. The limits are still 3 months but you can easily start off from the time you feel you started trading on Binance then you export the files in within the limit ranges without over lapping the dates

No, I was referring to order history shown at bottom of the page when making a trade. (Look at the image below.)
It does allow you to select a range bigger than 3 months but limited to trades made in the past two years.

Anyway, I think the link provided by you can be more helpful to TheBeardedBaby. It shows trades older than 2 years as well.

Thanks guys, so it's not only me with that problem. I doubt that it's done on purpose you make much more requests tl the server if you have to move back with the 2 months workaround . I'll report it binance and see what they will do about it.

Good to know you found a way to retrieve the data you need  Smiley
Probably, they add this restriction to reduce the load on their servers. Just imagine how many orders you will find on a trading bot's order history! (maybe they don't know about the workaround).
2-3 months seems reasonable to me. On some exchanges you can't see more than the last 100 orders or so.

I'll report it binance and see what they will do about it.
Please keep us updated. am interested to know if it really has anything to do with server load.

No, that doesn't reduce the server load.
Binance does allow you to see all your trades. The problem is how to set start and end dates.
Not only that restriction doesn't reduce the server load, but it causes more loads on the server.

Assuming you wish to check trades made in 2017, first you have to make a request to see your trades in June 2020 until September 2020, then a request for March 2020 until June 2020, then December 2019 until March 2020 and so on.
So, instead of making a single request to see your trades in 2017, you have to make more than 10 requests.

OK, thanks for the explanation @hosseinimr93. (am not a regular user of Binance)
So it's like tabulation, you have to click next (move back two months in this case) to see the next page but you can't jump directly to a specific page.
Now it makes sense but still not sure which is more resource intensive on the back end though.

I'm sorry but I think you're wrong. Checking trade history in Binance doesn't work this way. You don't actually have to go through all these hassles.

You just need to choose any consecutive 3 months in whatever year, click OK, and then click search. And then your trade history within that period will appear. So that's just a single request.

You can actually hop immediately to any month in your trade history. You just need to make sure that you are choosing a 3-month period, meaning you cannot search "June 2020 until September 2020" as that is already a 4-month period.

However, it is still a bit of a hassle if you aren't sure when the specific trade that you are looking for took place.

You didn't read the OP, did you? If you have the binance app, go and try to browse back to 2017 (if you have existing trades back then, because it looks like you can go back just to your first transaction). We are talking only about the App, not the website access.

I have contacted Binance on Twitter, let's see what happens.

I did. There was no mention of the Binance app in the OP. But, yes, the title says it all. Well, hosseinimr93 has already confirmed the same problem, at least in the android app, in the very first reply.

There was a little shift of the discussion to the web version of Binance and I think hosseinimr93 was referring to the web version when he made his/her response to khaled0111.

Pardon my off-topic response. By the way, I already stopped using the Binance app more than a year ago. Let's wait for Binance's response, then.
