iam newbie about mining and started to build a rig, i wanna buy some sapphire cards and iam little confused is it worth to give an extra 35 $ for Sapphire Pulse Amd Radeon RX 580 8G OC 256 Bit GDDR5 11265-05-20G or does is it make sense to buy Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX570 8GB 256Bit GDDR5 Lite 11266-75-20G
what i see is the clock speed s about rx 580 pulse is 100 mhz higher than rx 570 pulse ,how much difference does is it make in hashrates , , whats the real deal about this cards ,can anybody help who know about this cards ... thanks

For ETH mining, the memory frequency is important, not the GPU. By default, it is larger for 580 (8000vs7000). But the memory chip manufacturer is also important. According to reviews, the 580 has Hunix chips, and the 570 has Samsung. Samsung is better.

I only have RX 580 Nitro + and special editions, I tour between 33 and 34Mhs with the two models, but I just tested an RX580 pulse OC, I got a good result with 32.400MH / s I advise you to take 580 at Saphire and if you can Nitro + model concerning the memory I have no difference between samsung and micron / hynix

I think there is no differences with 570 or 580 at least they have a good memory on it, I used that two i can't see any difference and the reality is, sometime the rx 570 4gb got good hashrate if you mod it with a good clock and memory timing.

I don't advise you to buy the RX 580, it is a very old card. For results in 30-31 mx you can purchase 1660 Super 6 GB or 5500XT 8 GB. These cards have much less power consumption. I generally do not advise buying cards now until the mining tests for nvidia cards of the 30xx series and the mining tests of new AMD 59xx cards are released

why not take RX580s, they are cheaper "ROI", then the 1060 and 5500xt have a hasharate of 25 / 26MH / s while the basic RX580 are at 31MH / s. And no interest in buying $ 1200 cards to mine.

I have no idea if this new 5500xt is capable to mod like in other 500 series card, sorry i never been have a new cards in my inventory, but im planning to try it in the future.

Since 2014 I've been in GPU mining but I never saw that kind of hashrate by factory bios of 570/580 8gb cards.

Claymore's miner injects timing straps at runtime ( in windows only ), so you do not need to bios mod anymore to get these results. They are pretty normal.

Basically if you got free or cheap power then you can get the RX 580 8GB and you will get slightly faster speeds due to a higher possible core engine overclock. So instead of running it at 1150/2000 which is was more people run it at, you can get away with something like 1250 or 1300 core engine and get a little faster speeds using higher voltage. On the 570, the engine core clock can't go as high. Go read some Gamer benchmarks between the 2 and you will see. Makes sense because why buy 580 if the 570 is the same speed.
Regarding memory both are the same. The 8GB models can run at 2100Mhz which allows you to get like 31-33MH/s while the 4GB models can run at 2000Mhz max (most of my GPUs only run 1950) and you get 28-29MHs. So as long as you get the 8GB model you can run at 2100Mhz and get a good speed. If you got free power then can extract extra speed out of a higher engine clock but not really by much.
