I read your cryptocurrency basics guide. Your aim to educate newbies is commendable, but I believe the quality of information might need some more work/improvement.

I'd still like to hear about 3rd party review of the code, made by somebody I trust (yes, I know that this will take time).
At least the apk is indeed made from the Git code (according to walletscrutiny.com), good!

And a question: does this wallet work with hardware wallets? (I want to see if it's a worthy competitor for Mycelium, or "not yet").

It doesn't work with hardware wallets. But we are looking into it, if people need it we will add it.

Badly need I would say. All other features look good and if you add connectivity to HW like Ledger  I could probably test it. Is there any intention to develop epy desktop version?  I'm  spending most of my time sitting in front of big monitors. And  what about coin control option? It is one of the stones to consider when  selecting wallet to use.

we add it all points to short term to do list. These feature are likely to be live within 8-10 weeks:

- connectivity to HW wallets
- UTXO selector
- desktop version is already in progress but has been paused recently due to other priorities. We are planning to resume it and have about 2-3 weeks of work left before it's ready too be released.

Due to this, some information may get inaccurate. But if you have strong feelings about it and want to provide detailed feedback, we would be glad to work on it.

It's not about the omission of technical details. It's the understanding of what cryptocurrencies are, and what the blockchain is that's, I would not say wrong, but I believe it's misguided.

Remove DEFI. It might be good to educate newbies of where not to go though.

I would like to not agree with you about it. Crypto/Defi/OpenFinance are same things according to me. People need to get introduction to this field, and its new products as well. Ignoring is not the option, everyone needs to get educated.

I would like to not agree with you about it. Crypto/Defi/OpenFinance are same things according to me. People need to get introduction to this field, and its new products as well. Ignoring is not the option, everyone needs to get educated.

Then I would say your users' introduction to cryptocurrencies is misguided, and that might take them to a path where they will probably be scammed, with scammers taking what they want the most from newbies. Their Bitcoin.

Fdroid is much better than google store if you care about privacy, and apps can work even on de-googled phones.
Is it possible to swap all coins inside Unstoppable Wallet or it is only available for ethereum tokens and I am not interested in that?
For example I would like to exchange other coins to Bitcoin and vice versa if possible.

Unfortunately you can't swap Bitcoin on Unstoppable wallet. We have integrated Uniswap and Pancakeswap, and they provide exchange only for ERC or Binance Chain tokens.

Are you saying all other centralized wallets are stoppable? Running it through Tor might sound more secure, if it was not for all the "exit nodes" that are being hosted by law enforcement authorities?

it is also listed on walletscrutiny, cause just having the source code in the open doesn't mean anything. you can't be sure that what you download from the app store is actually what you find in the source code posted in the open. (i have no affiliation with walletscrutiny and never used unstoppable wallet)

Exactly, any centralized wallet can be switched off remotely because it relies on centralized server. Unstoppable wallet is literally unstoppable, because it uses p2p Bitcoin network directly. So as long as there are Bitcoin nodes out there our wallet will function. And in near future we will add support for personal Bitcoin node, such that Unstoppable wallet will work with your own Bitcoin node you specify in settings.

That's correct. Also Unstoppable wallet is listed on Fdroid app store now. What that means is Fdroid bot takes open source code of Unstoppable wallet from github, compiles it and makes app available on Fdroid app store. There is no other way to get listed on Fdroid.
