When you invest in any project in Crypto what did you look before investing?

I have checked:

Team

What are they offering?

What solutions they are providing?

What milestone have they achieved in the past?

Have they completed any promise?

Community

Social media research

Those are the point I checked before investing in any project.

Did I leave anything?

Also, What is the coins or tokens that are good right now? What are you HODL? Explain why you choose that?

Personally I invest in Phore, Chainlink, and LTC. Phore and Chainlink for my Defi craze and LTC and Bitcoin are my other bags.

What's your thought?

The type or kind of project depends on each person's risk appetite so for a conservative investor like me i will stick to the top coins only. I only buy other coins when i see almost ideal situation or if i get paid in them otherwise i take most other coins seem very risky to me maybe because of huge losses during last bears season.

You are right brother after the last bear market I take extra precautions. Hence, I created a mechanism and I apply this before taking risks with any project. Nah, I'm not get paid by any of these projects. I have look very closely at those projects after that I put my money into them. I'm very happy with Chainlink and Phore time is coming. You should definitely check it with an open mind you will be amazed.

As of now Defi projects have been increasing wide in the crypto market sphere and they'd cause a new record high trading volume. Many of them are also a scam and having a fake team and your conclusion on the thread upon determining a good project is correct. Do you want to know all the Defi projects out there? Just hang on into this thread of list and read them one by one and check their legitimacy. [BIG LIST] DeFi Projects & Tokens

But it seems like you are shilling your own project to get interest others. And by the way, are you the same author of this post on the other thread?
https://boards.4channel.org/biz/thread/22480818, if not, you're completely plagiarized someone post.

I also agree that we should take do our own research of a Project before we go in. I have personally done a similar review to multiple projects.
But, sometimes it's not so easy, for example in the Phore Project you can't messaure what is being done, since it's so hard and takes so much time to build Synapse that it will not be possible to do the check you mention.
Anyway, I have done and I also ended up with Phore and Chainlink, I have sold all my LTC since I lost the hope on that project

My personal favorite project and longterm hodl is obviousluy Ethereum.
Not only it has the biggest ecosystem, usage but it is the most adopted project in the world which you can track by the number of wallets and number of transactions.
With Eth 2.0 round the corner i am super bullish about Ethereum and it is best to hodl eth till the end of 2021.

This time the defi projects are dominating the market and many people are capitalizing on the defi tokens to make big money but personally i am still taking defis as high risk investments and that is the reason why i have not invested in any defi token as of yet so i consider established and top coins as longterm hold only because they are trusted by the market and also have working products or platforms.

Afternoon. I agree that there are many aspects that matter. And I am not only talking about the idea as the idea, but much more about complex approach. So curious to hear your views

Well, mine is the pretty complex - I am starting with the niche. For example, talking about me, I am fond of bold tech based solutions on bots prevention field. After the niche is chosen, I have a look at the solutions that are having the highest ratings along with real feedback from users. And then I am also evaluating things on my own, paying attention to team, opportunities and more

That's rational, cause usually people just follow what everyone follows. But I love your strategy more, it is deeper and more objective. As you are into the field, can you give me an example of the solution that meets your requirements nowadays?

Yes. My fav is hCaptcha, cause guys are bringing know-hoes onto the field. hCaptcha is designed to solve the most labor intensive problem in machine learning: labeling massive amounts of data in a timely, affordable, and reliable way. More data generally produces better results in training machine learning models. The recent success of deep models has led to increasingly large datasets, almost always with some human review. However, creating large human-reviewed datasets via Mechanical Turk, Figure Eight, etc. is both slow and expensive. hCaptcha allows websites to make money serving this demand while blocking bots and other forms of abuse. Have a look at website

i rather to stay away from any Defi projects out there. To me the defi thing was the most hight risk to get scam and to get stuck with it if the team did dump their bag as what sushi team do. Its scared me the way how defi projects work. Most of them just filling their own bag and after that run away.

Team.
Features.
Will the project end up with good usage and looks inviting to the common people?
Double check. Triple check.

Pick 10 then filter them again. Don't just buy then sit on the couch waiting for profits to come.
Support them by any right means.  Wink

I hold Ethereum and LiteCoin for long term. Those are the best coin. Too much potential. Before choosing a project i also see what you tell. But i prefer the best team.

after a lot of research I found that the projects related to Defi but with the name of the food are very suspicious (it was ironic, I didn't do much research). I discovered Phore and an interesting article on Synapse where they talk about how this new project made by the same team will compete in the Defi world.

I like QuarkChain, Harmony and Zilliqa. They come with sharding technology before Ethereum and it is only a matter of time when people find Ethereum alternatives due to slow and expensive Ethereum transactions.

I don't think there are any good projects that exist until the emergence of DeFi which now can be the right choice to make a profit from this project, because indeed a project in the future will always develop so that no project can always be good. because the project may become old, it will inevitably create new projects.

I'm personally holding a few projects for the short-term, like OpenPredict (OPT) and Linear Finance (LINA).

But there's also a few long-term picks, that I believe will pay off in a couple years from now—such as AllianceBlock (ALBT), Cypherium, and Elrond. Most of these are already out in the wild, but Cypherium is going to be completing its token sale soon, so I'll be trying to grab some.

As for my favorite project, it's still got to be Ethereum.

Also though the state bloat and gas cost issues are problems, we can be reasonably sure they'll be resolved in Ethereum 2.0. I expect incredible growth if it really manages to achieve the scaling Vitalik Buterin claims.

I have earned some Oikos tokens in recent bounty campaigns and for me, it is a smart way how to get passive income from cryptocurrencies. I take loan with my Oikos, I buy ETHs, I pay the loan to adjust my collateralization rate and now I am able to get more Oikos tokens every week from staking. When the price goes up, I take more loans. When the price goes down, I have to adjust again my collateralization to get profit from staking.  Smiley
