One of my biggest dreams is to own a private jet. The problem? I'm not a whale.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/whales-can-now-use-bitcoin-to-purchase-private-jets

Now it's possible for these BTC whales to purchase multi-million dollar private jets with Bitcoin from a private aircraft sales company. What are your thoughts on this one guys?

This is really nice example of how bitcoin revolutionizes the world of payment system. They can transfer any amount of btc without worrying any cross-border issues. Because if they will wire this amount, for sure they will also pay hefty amount of fees aside from other documentations needed. But with bitcoin, they just need their wallets and one click, that amount is within the wallet of that private aircraft company. They don't need 3rd party services for this transfer.

I totally believe we can buy everything and anything we need since Bitcoin has been accepted globally if I may say buying a private all depends on how much Bitcoin you have in your possession..... Owning is a private is a dream that can come through with hard work.

It's good, but not the best example of Bitcoin adoption. I'd like to be able to buy food with Bitcoin in a nearest supermarket.

That would be possible very soon. Bitcoin adoption has grown over the years and as we can see some companies accept bitcoin as a means of payment. More companies and businesses are getting acquainted with Bitcoin and they may soon include bitcoin as an option for payment.

Good news but not really what would drive adoption. Not everyone can afford that amount of Bitcoin to buy a jet except those the early adopters that have huge chunks of BTC lying in their computer.

Accepting BTC in small stores would will be more effective than this in my opinion.

Not a good decision in my personal opinion. That is of course good news since that means Bitcoin is now accepted by another merchant. But on the part of the buyer, that means one jet for now but probably 5 jets in the near future.

This is the reason why I prefer not to spend big amounts of Bitcoin. I don't have as big amount that can afford a jet but a couple of thousand USD in BTC is already big enough for me. I can manage to spend $10 to $50 or even $100 in BTC every once in a while though.

I understand that the best Bitcoin adoption is when merchants accept it and people buy using it, but while the price has not yet reached a stable level I'd rather keep hodling mine.

This will probably not have a huge impact towards bitcoin's adoption in the market.

Not all people are dreaming about a private jet, not all people are planning to buy a private jet so I don't think that this is effective. It is much better to have a normal transactions when buying goods, products, groceries, or even bills with bitcoin because it is much more practical than a private jet. It is much effective and useful to utilize bitcoin into our needs instead of wants. So think before buying something if it will benefit the bitcoin community and reputation but in the end, we are free about the things that we want to buy with bitcoin.

Extension of adoption indeed on btc part. But the problem is only whales can do and bought these prime jets. Only few people can participate on these and will not served much impact considering the mass community will be practical and not just buy a luxurious thing such as private jets.

I understand that the best Bitcoin adoption is when merchants accept it and people buy using it, but while the price has not yet reached a stable level I'd rather keep hodling mine.
Exactly, why not buy it through usd and convert your btc to fiat instead buying it with bitcoin, cause price is unstable and really fluctuates fast. Knowing that this could not be more appealing on market.

Okay man thank you for that and I really appreciate it.

Until now, I still regretted not knowing about Bitcoin when it was still very cheap. If I had bought a lot of BTCs before, I would become one of the whales and might purchase a private jet since it’s my dream. Not just my dream, but for my family and my future family as well.

The ones who bought BTC during the early days are now very fortunate, especially who sold it when it reached all-time high.

What a spetacular turn of events as bitcoin became more and more popular as whales can now easily buy a private jet if they want to using bitcoin. I hope cars will also to follow so I can buy my dream car in the future using bitcoin.

It's a nice article though and it will surely help the bitcoin to reach more potential investors in the future especially the big investors out there as this announcement can surely reach them in no time especially if there are big investors who wants to buy a private jet in the future.

not only you who regret not knowing and buying Bitcoin when the price is very cheap (not up to $3 / BTC) I am also very sorry for not knowing Bitcoin from the start..  I personally never dreamed of buying a private jet because I didn't need it, my dream and my family can only afford a very luxurious house.  and yep, lucky for those who buy Bitcoin at a very cheap price and then sell it on ATH..
