Hello my friends,

I was planning to participate in UNIDAPP DEFI bounty campaign, but realized there are two simultaneously running campaign.

The campaign 🔥🔥[ BOUNTY] UNIDAPP DEFI- HOT BOUNTY Up to $90K To Share🔥🔥 started on September 6.
The campaign [Bounty 2.0]UNIDAPP DEFI-40,000$ of UDP Token[Only 2 weeks] started September 15.

Both campaign consist of similar social medium and signature campaigns with different bounty pool and reward allocation, both have almost identical campaign rules. But what I found suspicions is - week periods #WEEK 2 : 14 SEP TO 20 SEP and Week 1: 15.09.2020 - 21.09.2020

When I asked bounty managers about, their answers were:

What conclusions I have made: UNIDAPP DEFI decided to cheat on bounty manager and start another promotional program with other bounty manager. Also it seems that they dont really care much about the bounty and they simply need maximum response from the community.

UNIDAPP DEFI guilt is not fully proven, as these are just screenshots from telegram chat with bounty managers. Everyone makes their own decisions and conclusions. But I'm not going to take a part in this campaign/campaigns.

I dont know the real reason why they decided to run round 2 or run another campaign, maybe there were some issues with first bounty manager. I dont know why first bounty campaigns managers kept silent for not being paid for his work. I dont know the truth. But personally, I dont like how things happens right now.

Hi, thanks for making this thread and opening the discussion. I have talked with the 1st manager about his payment. He got his 1st week payment but didn't got his 2nd week yet. He said he will wait today and will let me know if he got his payment or not. If he don't get his payment I will lock my bounty thread and also stop the bounty ASAP.

Btw, from my side I got my 1st week payment in advance in ETH.

But one possible problem that may arise here is that, even if both of you managed to get paid. The participants may not be paid according to their agreement. So anyway, it is the participant's prerogative if they will join or not, knowing that there's some issues going on with the project.

I will try to solve the issue by today and will let you guys and community to know what will happen with the bounty. If I see there is chance that hunters will not get paid I will stop the bounty ASAP.

Why don't you ask for escrow. If you use escrow bounty tokens then their is no chance to scam bounty hunters. Also you can hold the bounty payments for safety purpose. Team can scam hunters, as OP said that team can pay the managers but high risk to scam hunters.

Thanks for the information and looking at the chat log between you and the bounty managers it shows the project owners are more interested in making money through the investors than the project itself. However, I believe they want to pay the bounty manager the 2 weeks they own him after they have made enough money on their own and what I saw in this whole situation is that the two bounty managers are unprofessional. Besides, they operate bounties just like some exchange and coin ranking sites which are the one behind the crypto market being saturated with fake/scam cryptos and this is sad because before CMC is enough to finalize a good coin/project but not anymore cause there's no proper research and proof of payment put in place before the real deal
.
If the bounty manager was unable to get his own money from the team how would he help the bounty participants?

Very true! Even if the team will refuse for giving token for bounty hunters then? I think it is very important to use escrow.

Snip

Can you explain where I managed bounty for Exchanger or coin listing site? And can you show me how I'm unprofessional in this situation? As a bounty manager I make sure that everything goes smoothly. I try to ban those hunters who have multiple alt accounts so that those who joins bounty with only 1account get their respective payment.

In this situation I talked with both the 1st manager and the owner after this and they both said all the payment is clear now between them. And one thing about me is that I will never work without an advance.

Thanks @iamaruf and @Jocuserious for your suggestion. I will try to use escrow for the bounty hunters payment. For now there is no problem. Project owner said he was not getting good exposure about their project that's why launched another round of bounty. There is many projects who had few rounds of Bounty for their project. Now IQ cash and Youengine also running their 3rd and 4th round of bounty.

Don't get me wrong, theres different between hunting down bounty hunters that operate with multiple accounts than doing your own part in making sure the project you work for are somehow genuine. However, i said unprofessional cause the project owners dont pay the previous bounty manager for 2weeks and hire another one instead.

In this situation I talked with both the 1st manager and the owner after this and they both said all the payment is clear now between them. And one thing about me is that I will never work without an advance.
This is good that the situation is settle and "never work without an advance" was one of the reason I said unprofessional.

I will try to use escrow for the bounty hunters payment.
This would be the best solution then.

Hello everyone. Update: I have decided to stop this bounty from now. I don't want to take risk for bounty hunters. Also have some confusion about the project. So, it's better I don't do any marketing for this project. I will send back my payment to the project owner once he comes online. Bounty thread is locked.

I don't have any connection with the first bounty of them. So for any update about that please contact with the Manager.

Sorry everyone for wasting your time hope you understand the situation. Have a good day. Thanks.

Thats a good move. I see your concern about the hunters case. When I browse on their project, I see a huge conflict when saw two campaigns at the same time. While the posted screenshot shows that you and the other manager clearly on different contract with the unidapp. The project should clear it, actually its not bad to have many campaign but with same concept and materials it will only arises some confusion on the participants. But I salute you for this turn down to let everyone have peace of mind.

Hello everyone. Update: I have decided to stop this bounty from now.

That is a good move and I support it. You cant get all the money in the world so I have skipped participating in bounty and you skipped managing it. That will definitely improve your reputation. Like people say, you can build your reputation for ages and destroy it in a second.

Even if this campaign is legit and you have lost earning for 2 weeks management, I'm sure will quickly find another campaign to manage.

Let me get this right, this"megaproject" is actually composed of a one-page website with a few images, no team, no whitepaper, a shitty roadmap, and links to buy a useless token.
A deep investigation into what? There is nothing but a general presentation saying nothing, put on a 20 days old website!

Also have some confusion about the project.

Confusion about what?
There is nothing to be confused about it, it a money grab one page 10 mins project that tries to milk a few ETH from foolish investors and will disappear, two days later you will be contacted by a different team with the same recycled garbage.

I was planning to participate in UNIDAPP DEFI bounty campaign, but realized there are two simultaneously running.
This is already a red flag and they should clarify which is the real campaign.

But aside from that I’m really not comfortable of joining campaign that has no detailed information about the team, joining this is very high risk but its every bounty hunters call but still shouldn’t be trusted.
