Physical Social Distancing decreases to 0.75meter from 1meter in the Philippines

Physical Social Distancing plays a vital role in this Covid-19 pandemic in order to prevent the spread of this deadly virus. We are still in the worst battle with this unknown enemy when the Department of Transportation here in the Philippines decided to decrease the 1meter measurement of physical social distancing to 0.75meter in all our public transportation. They tend to implement this to open up the dying economy of our Country.
A lot of people now are worrying that it might only take our Countrymen more at risk and so our economy become more worst, as we are now having the highest  cases daily. For me, its not really the right time yet. Because the virus is still around us and we dont even know when this crisis will end. What are your thoughts?

Even the cases are going to rise as before if the distance increased to 2 metres because covid 19 virus has the capability of transmitting through air as well so social distancing is just like a fake promise to ourselves so we can feel that we are safe from infection.

Social Distancing were not followed by many now that results in increasing number of infected daily, decreasing it to 0.75m will be just normal as 1m is not being followed even before what more in these implemented decrease maybe only few will follows it, or it may still not be implemented in many establishments that are still crowded during gcq.
We need to plan to keeour safe protected for ourselves and for others, we should stay away from people who are not following the rules and protocols as well keeping our immunity stronger.

It's an aerosol, so you could get the virus on your clothes if you follow someone twenty yards behind. Also it's best to get yourself infected in the summer whilst you have stronger immunity - this assumes you are half way healthy of course. If you aren't healthy. then you need to work on your general health as a priority.

I am not sure what would be the perfect range, I am not a scientist so I can't say if this much is good or that much is good but I would say do not care about what the law says, just stay as far away as possible.

When the law says 1 meter and you are closer, you are breaking the law and never do that, care about the law in that scenario, but if the law says 1 meter or 0.75 meter or whatever, and you keep 10 meters away from all humans (if you can) that is not caring about law and you should totally do that.

I do not care what the public says or what the scientists say, I am going to stay away 10x more than that for sure, I am just too scared to get it, I am still in shock how I managed to not get it so far. My closest friend is getting married soon, there will be 300 people in one place, I am very veeeryy afraid.

Social distancing is not possible all the time because not everyone have such luxury life style, people who are using public transport for their regular activity are highly affected due to these kind of protocols but now its a good thing they reduced it.Anyway keeping 3 meter even won't save us from corona spread so there is no use of having such 1 meter criteria for social distancing.

It seems to me that in this case it is easier to completely abolish social distancing. A distance of 0.75 meters will give absolutely no protection against aerosol transmission of the virus. This, in fact, is now an unnecessary formality, from which there is no real benefit, but which still keeps people in discomfort. At least in my humble opinion.

this will be divided to two sentiments.

- Those who are against this are those people that concern about their health and don't wanna risk their Trip going to work.

-Those who are favor on this are those people that is affected more of the pandemic,many commuters everyday that is waiting long to find transport that has vacant because of limited passenger now with this adjustment the transport might add more passenger.

Remember what DILG secretary said that motorcycle backriding will be allow but should complied with the motorcycle back rider barrier to install. In my country people themselves are not following the rules to prevent the spread of COVID19. Government has now opened everything and has placed all the guidelines but people here are not following them. This has resulted in the spike of new cases everyday. More and more people are also dying everyday.

We all know that the virus is here to stay for a long time but we need to take steps to prevent it. If you do not then you will not only be in danger but your family and friends will be too.

Self-isolation is suggested as a means of maintaining social distance and voluntarily isolating oneself as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus but now many countries in the world are not following this step. No one is maintaining social distance moving as he pleases like you it seems to me that the world economy will be at great risk if it does not maintain social distance the effects of the corona virus are not completely gone.

Physical distancing is one way to reduce the spread of the virus. If it will lessen then it means that the country is winning the battle but if it's not, there's no need for any reduction in small meters for the physical distancing.

Having strong and good health is also needed, it's not just all about physical distancing. We need to have strong immunity by keeping ourselves healthy and fit.

Social distancing is really necessary to lessen the infected but for the sake of the economy they decrease it. Transportation sector is really affected with this issue, now its good for their side, it means more income because they can accomodate more commuters. Now that no vaccine is available and the number of infected is still increasing we need to take care of ourselves and prioritize our health. Take vitamins to boost our immune system and if not needed dont go outside unless its really important.
