Is It The Best Time to Sell Ethereum (ETH)

Actually I am really at crossroads too. On one hand I think that the ethereum has a major community and it will innovate much more but on the other hand there are promising projects like polkadot which will.solve scalability issues.

Same for me here, I wouldn't actually sell ETH because I think it's a bad investment, only to free up money for other investment. My crypto portfolio is diveded into bitcoins and alt coins. My bitcoin holdings I rarely sell because I need it for gambling and betting. And my alt coin portfolio I try to move around the holdings if I find a new project to invest in. But I think I will keep my ETH for a little longer before realising any gains.

As on of the best altcoins, Ethreum is my first choice to invest. I invested my larger amount on Ether expecting that I will get double profit. But recently its value is some what in down trend. It seems to me that the ether will not go higher and in your place I would sell a small part and invest for example in bitcoin or other alternative currencies. Keeping only one ether is not a good idea, given the volatility of the market. It is better if you have a wallet consisting of 5-10 top coins, then you will be more protected than if you keep only Ethereum.

It all depends on you and if you think the current price of Ethereum is profitable for you to sell, I don't think it is a problem, as long as you are selling it profitably.
And I have some Ethereum and I am not going to sell it now because I am optimistic that the Ethereum price will go higher in the next few months, if the price goes down again I will continue to hold it until it reaches a high price.

Buying coin at the peak of its price is kinda dangerous tho and if seeing its price stats there's big chance that it will go down again. honestly it's kinda difficult decision but if you are enough with 20% whats wrong with cashing out? if you want to invest to ETH again you can make another investment another time.
I'd suggest just do what you want to do whether selling or holding so that you won't regret later and I'm telling you that doing investment in crypto is full of regrets and emotion rollercoaster.

depending on which goal you take from the beginning short term investment or long term investment if you aim at long term investment better HOLD until the price goes up 2 times from now because ethereum is a good coin and has a great future but if you are aiming for short term investments by getting a profit of 20% it is worth selling

The answer is on you if you are comfortable holding your Ethereum for another all-time high then it's good, if you don't believe that it will take a long time to reach another all-time high and Ethereum will still drop and you can buy it again then go for it, you should be the one to decide the pros and the cons if you are ok with 20% profit then sell it.

Well, basically, there are a lot of people holding back ethereum, and I'm one of them. however, I'm still holding onto some Ethereum up to now, even though the price has dropped quite a lot from $ 470. however, I still feel that ethereum deserves to be held back. What I can see here is that you did not set a goal profit. For you to prevent huge loss if ever sudden sideways occur, you should probably set your target profit. 20% profit is enough ( well, for me). Since we can't predict the market and there is a possibility that you'll be trap in a certain price  which will make you be deficit.

Disregard greed, too. You are still at profit, don't wait ethereum to dumped heavily before you sell it. Anyway, you can rebuy it again and reinvest.

If you have an urgent need and don't have any other savings besides ETH that you have, I think it's worth a 20% profit.
but if on the other hand, you still have a lot of savings, maybe to hold until the end of the year can yield more than at present.
