It's not your good experience but I feel like it a long time: KYC has become more popularly used on many services, from centralized exchanges to online gambling sites. If in their service's ToS, there are terms for AML and KYC, even they say things like no KYC at account registration but there are special cases when KYC will be used, it's risky.
Such terms imply that KYC will be used in the future, not always means to use against users but with users it is always a risk that if they don't do KYC, their money will never be processed.
With small fund, if you did not do KYC before funding your account, you are not ready to do it now, the highest possibility is accept to lose it.
Why KYC is extremely dangerous - and useless.Yeah KYC in gambling is still on the grey area, though there are many big casinos out there that offer No-KYC thing, at least for a small withdrawals.
Now what, your account is "broken" now? Next time you make deposit and want to make a withdrawal, you will hit complete KYC ? If you were there not for a risk free bet promo, but instead deposited and played as usually, do you think you will be asked to complete KYC before withdrawal? If "$50 risk free bet promo" triggers automatically KYC, then it is not fair. I would say it was a huge trap.
Well I just leave that for now. No point for me to do KYC, since the risked balance is not that worthy. Im not sure if the KYC gets activated just because of the promo, but that could be the reason, which I was able to withdraw $32 a day before. And yes, that's technically a trap.

Did you try to contact them on the forum? Maybe their representative can do something about this...
KYC is, and will remain, a controversial topic. Especially in crypto casinos. It feels like a trap every time because they are doing it selectively... we don't even know what can trigger it. It seems that every casino has its own rules about it.
A few times I gave up the balance because I didn't want to complete KYC... I simply tried to make a lot more with crazy bets/bonus buys, but that never happened, so I simply stopped playing. In some other cases, I decided to stay on the site and went through the KYC process. I guess it all comes down to whether you wish to continue playing on this site or not...
Referring to OP's last active, and the negative feedbacks he has received before, I dont think that's worth to do, nor making a proper complain thread on reputation board. Unless if he decides to be active again on bitcointalk, and has good intention to solve all problems his project has, then I'll be happily to discuss the solution. For now, I simply follow what you did, just let the balance go. Just have no idea why they risk their own reputation here with as small as $130.
I see jayce already left a negative trust feedback on the BetFury account, but it was left 3 days after a last active day of the representative account. Perhaps the person manages that account has yet seen the negative trust feedback as well as any PM sent by jayce.
Let's wait for the account to be active again, then we will know BetFury ignored this case or reply cooperatively with jayce, and if there is noting wrong from jayce, a payment is mandatory if BetFury want to defend their company reputation.
...
KYC if can be pulled out anytime when user submit a withdrawal will be like a trap. If it is a big withdrawal, user can feel it deserves to KYC and have privacy loss but if it is small, they will more likely accept money loss and don't do KYC like jayce and you for example.
This topic remains its value over time.
Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless.Nah I dont send any single pm to him, referring to his last active and how the previous issues handled.
Crazy irony that you designed such a great signature for them and they actually did this to you. Their signature design is one of the best that I have seen personally so far. Am not really surprised about the KYC stuff though since they are extremely KYC happy.
Never trusted their promotions/offers and their customer support is easily one of the worst ones out there. There are far, far better alternatives out there.
Ikr Haunebu! I thought they were super legit, but yeah KYC isnt an illegal thing in gambling. At least it could be another lesson for us to do extra check before playing in some casino.
