I highly doubt that the price will reach back to $1000 by January 2015... or any time soon.
There is not enough spark of Interest or Need, from those outside of the Crypto-currency community.
You correctly predicted the Need and spark of interest that drove previous bubbles, right? Wait..
I'm just voicing my opinion. I'm not trying to convince anyone to believe that my predictions are accurate.
Were all of your previous predictions correct?
I simply don't see a very urgent need for most people to switch to using Bitcoins very soon.
A lot of infrastructure still needs to be put in place. It is still quite difficult for the average person to even be able to purchase Bitcoins for use, in the first place.
I am not saying that I think Bitcoins will be a Failure.
I strongly believe that Bitcoins will be the "Future"; I think that is inevitable at this point.
I just don't think that the price of Bitcoins will stabilize over $1000 USD in the year 2015.
