I use both centralized and uniswap, just because uniswap is much more convinient sometimes.  And before DeFi craze, fee's on uniswap weren't at all higher than on exchanges

Don't be sad because I also didn't get 400 UNI tokens, and some of my other friends got 400 UNI tokens, and some of them also didn't have enough gas to sell the UNI tokens to uniswap, it was very pity too when they used to be actively trading at Uniswap but did not have enough gas when the UNI token was given.

Seems like addresses created within one wallet are not eligible, only one will get the 400UNI and I used all of them. I have metamask where I created 2 additional addresses and only one was eligible to claim, despite I used all of them many times to buy and sell on Uniswap and the volumes were a lot higher than 1ETH on each because I heard such opinions that minimum 1ETH volume has to be done but couldn't confirm this anywhere.

In total, I get 3 times 400UNI, despite I have used 6 different ETH addresses on Uniswap frequently.

Sorry to hear that. But only those whove uses uniswap to trade are eligible for claiming the 400 uni tokens. I also claimed it, as Ive always using uniswap. This is one of the best airdrop or should I say distribution method to uniswap users. Indeed it is really a good money for those who claimed now, you dont need to blame yourself cause thats the criteria and it seems fair since uniswap users feeding a huge fee and somehow this is the good way to show their concern to those paying huge fee.

Don't be sad because I also didn't get 400 UNI tokens, and some of my other friends got 400 UNI tokens, and some of them also didn't have enough gas to sell the UNI tokens to uniswap, it was very pity too when they used to be actively trading at Uniswap but did not have enough gas when the UNI token was given.

I have traded on uniswap before 2 sep few times.
But when i click claim UNI and put my Eth address if says it is not eligible.
They should have posted clearly about eligibility criteria as some wallets are getting it and some dont.
Maybe it is only for people staking in liquidity pools because wallets with simple transactions like me are not getting UNI.

The people who traderld I think before September 1 are all qualified for the 400 airdrop. You can login via metamask and trust wallet, connect it and you are good to go, you just need to pay gas fee that is high anyway its worth it cause the tokens worth that much. I only had one wallet, if only I knew of this then the I used a lot of wallets.

To be honest, claiming those tokens alone this past hours has not been easy, an attempt of 10 transaction were failed and the sad part is, you get debited on your Ether for every failed transaction. There is high network congestion as everyone tried to claim their uni.

I have seen pumps and dump games at uni swap, although they have a good way to combat this by adding a liquidity pool.

too bad buddy but I am in the same boat I have many friends that also receive uni tokens. Its not totally  free since you need to liquidate to that exchange before you can receive the tokens today .other  people recieve more than 400 for supporting that exchange for long time  and trade many times. Its normal to us as human to choose what they think for us easy to use and affordable and nothing is wrong it that we just don't know that their token will be value like that.

Its not yet too late you can still participate for the next round distribution of that tokens but I don't know if the value will be the same after this.

There are plenty of other opportunities out there. Just because you didn't get one opportunity, doesn't mean you wont make up for it later.

I think this way is more fair. Those who really used Uniswap got their reward.
