THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER

If you play big, you might win big but also lose big time. Sooner or later we all face the loss, sometimes even bigger than we envisaged or can take. But that is the risk we all need to count, it's inevitable. On the other hand we all need to know our limits, taking exaggerated risk is not a smart thing to do.

If the amount of money will not be too big, our risk of losing the money will not be too big. Even if you can manage your money better than other people, using big money will not be recommended since we have 50/50 chances to lose that money. Using limitations can help us reduce the risk, and we can also enjoy the game simultaneously without losing big money. So that will be your option to use big money or small money.

actually it is not 50/50 chances in gambling,it is 70/30 loss win or lower,because when we gamble as far as our experiences is concern?
we only win once in 10 trials meaning this is not the way what gambling is all about.better to enjoy the game than to look for winnings(let the win bea  bonus from our happiness while playing) and look further for Good views towards gambling.
i hate thinking that we lose because we are seeking for much winning,instead let us make gambling a stress reliever and not added stress.

In the beginning, the percentage will be 50/50, but after the next round, the chance will be 70/30. The chance will always change, and it will reduce since there will be a tension that will become bigger in every round. Win once from 10 trials will not be good for that person, and if he can think the result, he better stop gambling, and he can try to gamble in the next day. I don't know if this one would be a good advise on telling for him to continue inspite of the situation that he's already losing that much.Why would go even further if you do saw that it wont possibly work

Primary mistake of people is that they do really chase out loses and that's what make it more painful unless if you are really accepting those next bets would really be on the losing side
and the money spent isn't really part of your life savings or emergency funds.

Only spent on the money you can afford to lose.. Sounds pretty basic but people do fail on following this basic line.

Chasing losses is probably one of the fastest ways to ruin yourself, and this is true not only in gambling but in trading and in almost any other activity that requires to put money at risk, at some point you need to look back and admit that all the money you have used to gamble over the years is lost and you are never going to get back and if you are incapable of this be prepared to lose the rest of your possessions as there is no way to beat the house over the long term.

It just good to say that until now, I did not yet lose 20% in gambling. Usually,I gamble my money to the games which I afford to lose. However, I have still experience in losing money in a day when I played because I have a problem in my family. I was depressed and the only thing I can do in my room was betting in different games. Yet, I wan unlucky because I lose 300 usa that day.

Conclusion, I already understand why we must not let our emotions ruin our game play. Everything that we do because of anger will have a bad result as well.

Gambling without the post consequences will let us to be in such conditions but always try to control our emotions and feeling while betting or else we will be betting more than we could afford to lose on bets.Even I regret once for 400USD lost bet but that happens very rare so I just moved on from the feeling which is really bad to experience it.

Well by the Grace of God, I have seriously grown in the business, I haven't won 260k at a stretch but I have won more than that from bettings

Then, that was a pretty good thing to happen after all. The painful day you have experienced on not winning the 260k in just one blow that day became a fruitful days to come after losing the bet you have engaged on that painful day you were talking about. It is still a pretty good thing that you at least won a big amount accumulating all the winning you have got from your next bets and summing it up may have covered all your sadness of not winning that 260k on that day for you have been blessed for more that what you wished to have on the next days of your bets. It is just so happen that on that day you have expected to win is not the day it is intended for you to experience such blessing to happen because there is a greater thing to come in your way. It is just normal to have painful days of your life because as long as there is hope, you can still be able to win on other bets you will get engaged.

There are really things in life which isnt really for us even though we do saw that we do almost hitting the spot but ended up on the opposite outcome.Its not really just limited to gambling but even on simple decisions in life that would have that corresponding result that you are hoping or aiming.The thing here is that you shouldnt let yourself be on rage and moulding up that kind of chasing wins because this would be the reason that things turns out to be bad.Just stick on what you had been doing in the past and dont go overboard because too much dedication on winning would really have that corresponding negative effect if you arent careful.
Each of us does have those painful days but we cant turn back the time and we dont have any choice but to deal and move on from it.

I think any gambler that has played for long enough has their own fair share of good and bad experiences that they can share, however I have never experienced anything like what the OP described, I have never made a bet of 5k in my life, and most likely I will never do it, and at no moment I was close to earn 260k with a bet either, the amount of emotions that must have gone through the head of the OP at the time and the regret that he must have felt are probably like nothing the majority of us has ever experienced while gambling.

Definitely, if you are already in gambling for a long time, you should experience both fun or sad playing the games. A chance to lose in gambling is high, it is impossible if you won't get a sad or bad experience. I read the title and clicked it and while I'm reading your post, I thought for a second that at the end of your thread you will say that you will win.

Anyway, it is a double hit for you since you almost won a huge amount and you lost your money. It would be more memorable if you won on that match you put your money with but it didn't happen. Fortunately, I don't have any painful memories with regards to gambling. If you have money just continue to gamble with moderation still and maybe you can win more than you can win at that day .

Life's such a beautiful journey and all these negative days can turn into positive when you will learn from your mistakes. A similar thing happened to me when I bet on a cricket match between Bangladesh and West Indies and that time West Indies was clearly in good form and hence it made sense to place a bet on them. Placed a big bet only to see Bangladesh batting so nicely hitting most balls as six or fours and then I realized, in gambling there's nothing guaranteed, everything is just odds. We should never think that "easy free money" is there without any risk! I lost that bet and money which I thought I would surely win!

I can feel the same feeling as yours, but I probably think that it really hurt, no matter what you avoided and recovered from that disappointment.
So, does it mean that we must not be happy until something is hot in our hands? As we know, not only in gambling but also in other sectors We may be able to lose something only in seconds because of missing something or being not lucky probably.
The money may likely seem to be ours, but in the end, it ends there, and we can't do anything again, only seeing from the far distance. It hurts, does it?

But you shouldnt really expect that much when it comes to winning because it would really be questionable because we know that gambling can either give or not give that kind of result or win.
This is why you should really make yourself realize that you shouldnt really force yourself to win up everytime you do gamble.It would be better if you do have that kind of mindset on where
you do think about winnings is just a bonus or add up into your entertainment purposes.$5k for everybody is already a big amount but for some these might be peanuts but for most
its a hefty sum.Once, lost then you dont have any options but to move on.

Never switch sides for money is what I'd take away from that, either you think your side will win or not.  Most of us dont have the distance in consideration to bet for every team equally, I'd find it hard to bet against my home team.   I can bet multiple games but if I have bias in a game I sit back or I reduce size alot and observe, I think it avoids losses.

5k is nothing to some people, they'll win it back next week next month.   Its only the regular pattern which matters most of all, some people look down on betting small amounts but you can learn alot while taking an interest purely in the game itself and the balance vs bets; later on risk the money that matters or that weight can throw off good judgement.

BUT. Things not always run smoothly as you have imagined, that's why i prefer avoding to bet on my own team , you will never learn to bet objectively in that situation. All the way your team to win no matter what.
But guess miracle did happened sometimes, remember a fan of Leicester city who bet $50 on Leicester city to win premier league and they did cash them out at $70,000 while actually could see them holding $250k if they wait a little longer till the ened of the season.

That was such a mount and no bettor can forget that and it will haunt him in the first week after that painful day imagine you can buy on this amount, but even though it hurts you have no choice but to move on, life has many ups and downs and it's just happen that you have to deal with a big amount but it's already 7 years the amount was never meant for you, maybe there is a bigger amount waiting.
