For only bitcoin, it is far away from education system. But may be in future, blockchain technology will be added on education system. Bitcoin may be discussed on finance and economics also.

This question has been asked before on this forum in the year 2017 if i remember correctly
I believe for the world and the education sector to embrace the innovation of blockchain, to understand its potential and also put it to use. Bitcoin and blockchain have to be introduced into the educational sectors and we have seen some universities in the US and EU region (an example are Edx, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Nicosia, Stanford University etc) that already course for blockchain and cryptocurrency.

It wouldn't be disastrous to do. Because day by day everything is getting updated and Bitcoin may spread everywhere in the near future. So it would be wise to introduce Bitcoin in the education sector. But blockchain is a big platform. Therefore, the need for this vocational education along with traditional education is undeniable.

I think it will be best if it will be introduce to the students who are already inclined to such topic, I won't even recommend btc, I think the best way is to start with the blockchain technology, and of course bitcoin will be a part of it. Blockchain technoloy should really be introduced to students who are inclining to be involved in industries such as computer programming. It will also be important to start with teaching financial literacy to the students.
I may find it weird to teach bitcoin to random students, it feels like you are making them learn a thing that doesn't really interest them. So it's best if the students are enrolled in courses who are in this industry. They will have to learn it either way.

For me is a great idea for a lot of countries that are already adopting cryptocurrencies. A lot of people just need to learn about cryptocurrency so it is a good move to put a subject about cryptocurrencies in schools or universities. Students are the future and bitcoin or cryptocurrency technology believed to be the future currency around the world it would definitely make sense for a lot of students to learn it in school. Or maybe it can be adding in economics subject so that their is no need to create a new course for it.

Cryptoccurrency is already sub-course in some of the universities especially department of banking and finance.looking at bitcoin in particular i hope it deserved to add in university curriculum so that people will not be able to find it difficult to analyse and understand the concepts of bitcoin. This course "crpto bitcoin" have to make official to everyone that's interested to learn btc. And most especially this course have to be attached to entrepreneurship course to enable students to develop interest quickly.

It is the blockchain technology that will have to teach in school, not Bitcoin. Because this could be useful in the other areas and understanding Bitcoin isn't really hard AFAIK.
This has been discussed already and upon reading on previous replies, it finds not necessary. But anyway, it is our choice to teach Bitcoin in the community, in a certain number of people that would like to listen to you. Because not all have giving interest in this and so it was useful if we only teach those people who are willing and those open-minded individuals.

Education about bitcoin and currency is essential. Developed countries have brought blockchain and bitcoin to education in their educational programs from elementary to university. The future of cryptocurrencies is very positive and could become the technology that changes the entire world's financial system. Education about bitcoin, blockchain will help create a new generation of crypto developers in the future.

I think that in education all the mechanisms must be integrated so that they know bitcoin and its technology, it is much more necessary today to fight against that thought of the authoritarian system where they do not teach business or real estate, that is, investment and / or market speculation. In Venezuela there is a teacher who teaches her students about bitcoin and its technology, in fact, in June in the local Spanish forum I talked about it here: Profesora venezolana utiliza Bitcoin para motivar a sus alumnos you can visit it so you can observe the opinions.

I think it would really be necessary and essential to include and introduce Bitcoin as well as the block chain technology into the educational sectors to educate young minds about the existence of such. It is essential be done of course we are already facing into the fast pace of continuous improvement in modern technology where specifically crypto currency is located and can be accessed. As young minds are learning to effectively use modern technology, then they must better know about the essential things that technology have provided which is Bitcoin and the whole block chain technology. This would make a clear appearance of a bright future that a knowledgeable individuals who know how to effectively use block chain technology would arise once this was done on educational institutions.
Maybe as for now only those nations who widely accepted and adapted crypto can do such thing but for those who are still not, high hopes that soon as time goes by, there could be a possibility that it would make happen to educate young individuals to better know about Bitcoin and block chain technology.

Good day guys, I'm here to discuss your different views and opinions if bitcoins should be infused into educational institutes. Although I personally think that if such action is taken, Bitcoin economy will expand and more traders will come into the crypto market with these few points: Bitcoins a completely decentralized digital currency built with the knowledge of its unidentified creator Satoshi Nakamoto, Roughly 12 years ago the knowledge of this currency was know to only a group of internet surfers but over the years as more individuals were told about this so did the bitcoin economy grow and the current market capitalization of the economy is estimated at about $117.81 billion. Businesses both big or small have decided to integrate the bitcoin platform into their activities. Thus making useful change within the bitcoin economy. The decentralized nature of bitcoin is made possible with the P2P protocol creating autonomous transactions which helps in attracting the attention of investors to itself. The payment system on the platform can allow users to avoid issues like double spending. All these talk balls down to the fact that bitcoin economy has greatly improved due to communications and information over the years and why I was in school, I had no one to tell me about the crypto world but when I came across @Chris Barth https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2569032 Although I suspect you may very well know him he told me about the community especially the bounty section but my point is this students have no one to do this in their various schools and countries. And I will continue to support and promote bitcoin in any means I can. Feel free to drop your different perspectives and correct me where I'm wrong. Thank you! I believe that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies should be introduced into the education system around the world, because this phenomenon has already become part of the cultural and financial life of a person in the new time. Of course, we have knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrencies in General, but they need to be structured and clearly stated within the framework of some course at the faculty of Finance. This will give a huge boost to the market.

I think Bitcoin and Blockchain should be taught as a lesson especially in colleges and specifically in computer science. Because cryptocurrencies and their technologies are directly related to computer science. By means of this, more people can start working in the field and contribute to the crypto technologies.

I think bitcoin shouldn't be taught in schools most especially in lower years because the students couldn't understand that topic most especially if the student is minor or in a stage of adolescent. If this will be teach I think it should be in college level, because students in college level are already open minded.

Should Bitcoin be introduced in educational sectors? I say why not. Although it would depend upon the courses offered by an institution, and if this topic is related to the nature of the course. But most definitely it has been tackled to some during their management courses, which is I think that this would be applicable for tertiary level.

Yep, it should be referenced in places where it fits, not as a whole subject or something, there isn’t much to be taught about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is simply a decentralized currency and is being used for sending and receiving money and nothing much.
Unless you’re going to be talking about the Blockchain technology, I believe that there is a lot that should be taught on the topic of Blockchain, and these days it has become a hot topic and one of the areas where there are huge opportunities since a lot of companies are now looking to employ engineers that are skilled in Blockchain technology.

There is many related courses that is suit for bitcoin to be attached as a course, example: entrepreneurship and banking and finance because no university that does not teach entrepreneurship because looking at bitcoin transaction's it's really a business in other hands. So therefore I think bitcoin should link or attach to such course.

Yes, it must be in the right place for bitcoin lessons or education and it must have an adequate and easy way of thinking to understand each bitcoin lesson described. and I think teenagers are more suited to bitcoin and university lessons which I think are more effective and easier to understand and will apply not only to practice but also theory.

To answer your topic question: It probably needs to be introduced on related subjects/courses like investing and finance and computer science in general.
But what needs to be more emphasized in schools in my opinion, is internet security in general. Not only does it help with the security of future bitcoiners, but also with internet users in general. As we move more and more to the digital space, internet security just becomes more and more important.
It would really be tackled as long it do talks about technology and internet security.Of course it would really be needed to be included on relevant subjects so that it would be fitted out in case if it would be added on the curriculum. There are already some universities or schools that do consider on adding it up but well all of these decisions will still vary on the government if they would really allow to be included on school subjects. Here are the example that who have added Bitcoin to their curriculum. https://www.europeanbusinessreview.com/top-universities-who-added-bitcoin-to-their-curriculum/Adoption is on the move but it wont really be possible for all countries due to government regulation and their insights towards cryptocurrencies.

It could be possiby imposed into educational institutions and be taught to students for we are already into the phase of modernization and having the advance technology around us that are being used by many people, it would be a great essential that students of this generation to know something about Bitcoin and the whole crypto currency as well. It is great to let children to learn about it while they were still young for the future resides and dependent on them. It is better to let them fully understand it on educational institutions so that they can fully and responsibly use it to the full extent and make everybody understand and learn it effectively. May we at least use the advent of technology to impose a kind of education that will let people to learn more about Bitcoin and crypto currency as a whole build up better understanding about it. But implementing it into educational sectors might be just possible right now for those countries that openly accept Bitcoin and crypto legally. For others, there is still a need for legalization and acceptance to be able to do that.

Blockchain technology should be also prioritized not only internet security, but also how data stored globally. By this, maybe students and universities will have a prior knowledge towards transactions and how system works and record data in a specific storage. Especially that bitcoin community is growing and any other cryptocurrency community is also booming these days. We all know that every one of us are going to universities and study the things that we want to pursue and probably we should make a way to help cryptocurrency to become studied by student and future investors.
