Hi
I have just installed windows 7 64bit and I am having problems mining scrypt.
I know newer versions of cgminer do not support scrypt mining
I have downloaded cgminer 3.1.1 which I know is good
when i start it I get --scrypt: unrecognized option

my GPU is gigabyte R9-280X
I have the latest catalyst and amd sdk accelerator installed

bfgminer works but I couldn't make it mine more than 570kh. normally my GPU works at around 750kh

anyone can help on cgminer please?

thanks

Maybe you have cgminer version  3.10.1

only versions up to 3.7.2 are working with scrypt.

Yep, that basically sounds like you've ended up with a version of cgminer that doesn't support scrypt somehow.

I've used version (3.7.2) without problem with a R9-280x on Win7 64.

Give it a try.

duh, yeah
by mistake I downloaded 3.11
I can't find 3.1.1 for windows.

EDIT: I found 3.7.2 and it's working.
Now I have to figure the settings to make it work at 720kh+
