Few days ago YFMoonshot bounty telegram group deleted. Their bounty finished date is 19 September and they locked the thread today which is before the deadline. I asked their telegram that why thread is locked but they kicked me out from the group and banned me. Their behaviour looks like suspicious. I think they can scam bounty hunters.

It looks suspicious but there are rules in the official telegram that anyone talking about bounty campaign in their official group will be automatically banned, possibly they have a bot that is doing that job.  There are several consequences why they deleted their telegram bounty group but I agree that it is a huge red for bounty hunters that joins that campaign.  If there is no other means of communication about YFMoonshot's bounty campaign  and they ban anyone talking about the bounty then, it is 100% they are not willing to pay bounty hunters.

It is their bounty telegram group that got deleted. It is saying only one thing, they don't want to pay their bounty hunters and more than likely, they will also disappear. And their price is actually expensive in the market, expensive than established alts here - about $171 in Uniswap. Too bad for those hunters, seems that they will not get their share.

I didn't post anything about bounty or something like that only said that why the thread is lock. As you can see the bounty manager is not active after locking the thread and also after posted the bounty he/she was inactive. The spreadsheet is not updated. I think they scammed bounty hunters. I might be wrong but their behaviour looks like that they scammed hunters

If this is true then obviously things are not right on their side and it is almost certain that you will not be paid.
It is really sad tgat this wave of scam projects and bounties seem to be back with new trend and hype but this time community need to speak up and highlight these black sheeps and report them everywhere so that these scammers can be discouraged.

Bunch of losers, I hate this attitude from projects especially after they have used the bounty participants even their tone changes and they start seeing hunters like beggars lol. I think criminal proceedings should be initiated against these project owners that ditch bounty hunters after the work has been done and team denies to pay.

Community needs to be vigilant as there seems to be a wave of similar acts from new projects, recently Euclideum has done the same while some projects are simoly not paying bounty rewards for months. We should name and shame such people and projects for sure, if we cannot do anything else.

That's become a scam projectand you should avoid to deal with the crap defi bounty. They were only trying to get the free promotions for their campaigns and then you have seen it with your eyes even the dev was banning you from the forum. That means they have already tried to skip the campaign.

Just avoid to deal with any defi that has already showed the suspicious actions before. Too much defi bounty that has already launched this one has made the bounty participants forgot to DYOR.

Due to the rampant movement of farming tokens right now, I am really convinced that there will exist a copy-cat project which only wants to fraud the people specially investors and hunters. It is really suspicious to me when I first glanced that campaign. And I think it is the nature of crypto, to create a new hype which will attract us to join. It is good that you already posted it here to guide other participant for a possible scam.

For me i dont like these defi projects, cause this projects are not for long term. And for the hunters, they accept the risk to every thing that will happen on that bounty when they joined, so if they think its not a good bounty then they should get out immediately.

That's why I hate to join those campaign which is managed by the teams. Though all of them are not scammers, for few scammers hunters afraid to join. I always prefer to join those campaign which is managed by the reputed managers. But recently only a few campaigns available which are managed by bounty managers. Be aware guys before joining any campaigns.

It depends on a defi projects some are for long term but projects like yield farming algorithms are most likely not for long term as you observed there are so many yf projects almost same with each other at first high price and after a week dump by farmers and next pump and dump which is not good for crypto market much better to stay away from farming tokens.

When I see a project that uses someone else name and abuse its popularity, for me it is a clear scam. Secondly, I do not believe that Yearn Finance is a cryptocurrency that worth to HODL. When you read carefully the whitepaper, you realize that only use case for Yearn Finance token is possibility to vote in Yearn ecosystem, nothing else.  Smiley

It's awful for the bounty hunters and pathetic on the team that used the hunters to promote their project and left them to try. I wouldn't be surprised if they leave out their investors to dry.

Not surprised, it just another YFI forks scam project.

I think they can scam bounty hunters.
If you think they're scam, you should create scam accusation with proper format [1] Also you need to tag and create flag on both Bounty manager and the announcer.

Few days ago YFMoonshot bounty telegram group deleted.
Whenever an action like that happens, it only points to one thing — Exit Scam. If access to post in the telegram handle were closed and participants migrated to a new one that would've been quite understand in a manner to control spams. But to entirely delete it is an omen of what every bounty hunter dreads.

Again, I think hunters should just relax and not jump into any bounty that has a "YF" tag to them seeing how well the trending YFI pairs are doing. The sad truth remains that most of these bounties don't in anyway have anything related to the YFI pairs. Beware all.

Base on what you said yes they don't want to pay hunters for that promotion and they believe locking the thread and kick out all participants  will be a good solution. For you I suggest to open scam accusations against this project if they don't cooperate with the payment  that hunters deserve ,so that project will be tagged as scam and no one will became victim again with that scam project .

Suddenly there is a rise in such reports as people here are reporting more projects as well.
This was on the cards as many senior members were pointing out that defi trend will bring many scammers too so everyone needs to be careful.
Just imagine the loss to investors who put their yearly savings in a project in hope of gains but they even lose all, that is really painful. I just hope people realize the pain of other people and stop scamming others.

I was among the participants who promoted yfm but I have been skeptical about the whole Bounty.
The manager was a newbie who purchased copper member to post image and bounty, they no longer respond to anyone when you dare ask whereabouts of the manager.
They promise to distribute Bounty tokens after two weeks of the completion of the promotion but sadly, the spreadsheet is left untouch.
