Hitbtc is like a black hole for your money

This is a story about a 2FA issue that never got resolved.

I lost my phone a long time ago. So I raised a ticket at HITBTC support asking for help, saying let me use a new phone I got to sign me in.
I raised my ticket back in June of 2020.

As of today (Three months later) I have sent 50+ emails to HitBTC with multiple pictures of myself and my identification documents. They have all kinds of sensitive information about me. Yet I never got to access my account. This is a serious issue and I would hold off on depositing any currency to HitBTC until we know that It’s been resolved. I'm still in touch with their support and I'll let you know what they come back with.

Mind you the computer I'm using is the same. My email and my IP address never changed.
They never helped me access my account and my funds. That's why I believe HitBTC stole from me on purpose, which is a criminal offence.

There seems to be no physical location or names attached to this company.
However I have found a massive amount of others who claim they had similar issues regarding HitBTC and theft.

Why you are requesting a new phone sign in while you can access your hitbtc account on any phone or computer? Do you mean you have sms verification or 2FA verification security that set on your old phone?? Because if your problem is the 2FA verification, there's a solution on recovering as long as you still have access on the email that used for that.

There are tons of complain about this exchange especially on there verification process and there expensive flat rate withdrawal fee. I believe you can still recover it if you will approach them patiently.

All this long and you were still using HitBTC despite having hundreds of complaints about being scammers and having hefty withdrawal fees all over forums on the internet?
Sorry for your lost funds but just forget about them and possibly consider it a lesson

I stopped using my HitBtc account because of their very weak support people should do the same and ask the developers of the coin you are investing not to think of submitting their coin or token to HitBtc, there are so many complaints on this exchange they are like P2PB2B that scam many of their users, it's only  a matter of time before they close their exchange for having so many complaints.
