According to your plan, i would suggest you to combine between GPU, CPU and ASIC.
@philipma1957 has mentioned about the GPU. As long your monthly income not depend 100% from mining. Mining ETH and ETC still profitable (especially ETH had Defi). . While ASIC you can allocate them for mining BTC. For CPU, Imo, there's 2 project that, imo, will be shine in future, coin called ARWEAVE and Mochimo. But i would prefer Arweave.
Btw don't forget. Mining is one of investment type. Always calculate operational cost first.
There is a lot to understand when investing to mine.
I have written multiple post explaining profit ratios
A 200K SETUP REALLY NEEDS TO LOOK AT THESE POSTS.
Which are being deleted time and time again when I post them in the btc mining section.

if you run 2000 watts or less at home you may make a profit with gpu rigs
but if you run with an asic mining btc directly you need 3000+ watts and a 240 volt circuit .
all direct asic mining at home kind of needs 240 volt and a 20 amp circuit.
a used s17 pro pulls 2200 watts at about 53th
it is loud and 53 th is about 0.08 x 53 = $4.24 usd a day
so 2.2 x 24 = 53 kwatts a day which would be
5.30 a day power in for a 10 cent power fee
most homes are over 10 cents. a kwatt.
but as ognasty told you gpu mining can profit at home.
I can run a 600 watt gpu miner that does 160mh.
it will earn 0.0009648 btc a day which is $10.51 usd a day for only 600 watts.
I have a thread in alt coins that would help you build a gpu rig.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144362.0mining btc via auto vert on nicehash is better then mining btc directly at this moment.
sometimes it is the other way around mining btc directly with an asic is better.

Comparing the 17 series from bitmain to any other mining gear will always lead to the same results, those 17 series are the worst mining gears anybody has ever made, so without a doubt, the M20 and M21s are far more robust than S17/T17, but since we don't have enough data on S19/T19 we can't be certain about their quality, my bet is "they are much better than the 17 series", but are they better than the m30+/m30++/m30s from microbt? nobody can tell, it is a bit too early to judge.
But overall comparing Microbt gears to Bitmain in terms of quality, I would say MicroBt, honestly, Bitmain failed big time in the 17 series, S9k , S9e and many other non-btc mining gears, the S9 was the last mining gear from Bitmain with tremendous robustness, I hope they have gone back to the same standards on these 19 series, although I wouldn't trust them until months have passed.
And for the M32s ?
Very few review on it
We wont be reviewing any of them as mining btc directly is very hard to do.
the
30s
31s
32s are all over priced.
we are in a time right now where gpu mining eth on nicehash and auto verting it into btc is a better more profitable way to mine btc.
now i have posted this in about seven threads 🧵 and it gets deleted by the mod here in the btc section of mining as off topic. frankly i disagree with that and think you should know why you are not seeing a lot of reviews for btc gear .
i just spent 4600 on gpus to mine eth on nicehash to autovert into btc.
i use about 2000 watts and earn around 24 usd worth of btc doing that.
if I buy 4600 worth of whatsminers i would be less profitable about 17 usd in btc and burn more then 6000 watts.
until asic btc profits catchup you wont be getting reviews here.
as a guy with 300kwatts of power using only 100kwatts split between asics and gpus is how i am postioned.
I have about 20 s17pros and about 1.7ph of asics mining ⛏ btc directly.
I wont be getting any asics for now. and I will mine with asics and gpus for a while.

And for the M32s ?
Very few review on it
If i am not mistaken the first batch of M32s was sent out in August, so the first person to receive it hasn't yet tried it for a month, so even if you managed to find or a hear a review from someone, it will be somehow inaccurate as the test-period is way too short.
With that being said, since we haven't heard of any major change in the MicroBT management and team, I can only assume that they still maintain the same standards, the huge failure for the 17 series was due to the absence of Jihan, at that time Micree was in charge and he must have made a ton of bad technical decisions which lead to the low-quality of 17 series, or at least this is how Jihan justified the failure to the Chinese miners community, which does make sense if you come to think about it.
and if they meet specs they will be costly and take more one year to pay off.
these are a few post I have had deleted when explaining that gpus are scaling for profit way way way better then asics for btc.
I have about 70k in gear at the moment.
so if you have 20k or 200k to spend on gear.
please look at what
1) gear price
2)power used
3)coin earned
at the moment 4600 in gpus using 2000watts
make 24 usd worth of btc on nice hash mining eth and auto-vetting to btc
and 4600 in asics directly mining btc using 6000 watts make 17 usd worth of btc.
so it is easy to see gpus are better right now.
it is not so easy to see this swings back and forth which means be diverse and don't jump in like a mad mad all or nothing guy.
