I just noticed a new tab on dx.com:

Does anybody have any info on this? I don't see any bitcoin logo or deposit address anywhere?

I found something in their Help desk but I don't fully understand it yet.

It looks like they do not accept any bitcoin deposits yet. The "My Bitcoin" tab is probably for the service they provide on purchase of Bitcoin mining machines (whatever that means). I guess I'll just let you read all the rest from the above links.

Sounds like some sort of "cloud mining" scam:

What did I understand about their service agreement that you can sell or buy cloud hash so suchmoon might be right but it might depends on the seller and dx.com will act as an escrow?

And I'm also thinking about their affiliate if you get sales and get commission maybe you can withdraw the commission through Bitcoin?

Ow... They got lots of bad reviews on their apps here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epro.dx&hl=en_US&showAllReviews=true

Added these two more
- https://www.trustpilot.com/review/dx.com
- https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/dx.com

They have so many bad reviews? Are you regular customer on this site?

I never heard about Dx.com. Is it another Chinese online store like Gearbest or Bangood? Their design looks almost same.
But this Bitcoin thing on their website looks fishy from first glance. Though, I don't have enough information about it. But words "cloud mining" is big red flag.
They don't accept Bitcoin, so it's not big deal. I remember few years ago Gearbest used to accept Bitcoin, I even bought something using it. But later they removed this option unfortunately.

They sell cheap Chinese junk - not very conducive to glowing reviews. I've never had issues with them but I don't think I've ever bought anything above $20 there.

Similar but I think DX is older than those two sites or at least I've heard of them earlier.

This cloud mining thing looks like a desperate cash grab attempt. I don't see how it can make sense.

@BitMaxz: yeah, i've bought tons of stuff from them, they used to be reasonably customer-friendly as far as chinese webshops go. I mean, if you want a shop that honours their guarantee period, answers customer's questions and gives after-sale support, you shouldn't buy from any of those buy-in-china shops.

But hey, their prices are good, shipping is free, and they have an import duty assurance (if you take this assurance, and you have to pay import duties, they reimburse you).
I bought several smarthpones from them, smartboxes, led's, puzzles, rPi accesoires, heatsinks, computer accesoires,...

But lately, i do start to think they're going downhill. I bought a xiaomi redmi 7A from them over 2 months ago, last week i enquired why they didn't send this smartphone after 2 months of waiting. Instead of apologising for the delay, they just told me the smartphone was out of stock and they would refund me.
To bad I had to open a ticket and ask them what was the holdup before they decided to inform me they had oversold this item.
Even worse is that after a couple of days, i also purchased a silicon case for the redmi 7A, and a hardened glass screen protector. Both of these items arrived at my doorstep weeks ago, but they're pretty much useless to me now since dx has cancelled my smartphone order. I'm now in the process of convincing them that, eventough i did receive the silicon case and the glass screen protector, these items are worthless to me now that they've decided to cancel my smartphone order...

Now, back to the issue at hand: if they're starting to sell cloudmining contracts, i would consider this a big red warning flag...

I never used deal extreme website but I have seen it before as one of the chinese gadget websites.
Just opened it and I can't see any Bitcoin tab there, but I found it one left menu side, and I agree with comments from previous members.
Bitcoin mining machine purchase activities whatever that is looks very suspicious.

This is what they accept for payments, and I can't see any crypto or Bitcoin here:
DX accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Discover, PayPal,Webmoney, Ebanx, iDeal, Boleto, COD

I used to buy something from these Chinese stores from time to time, but I always paid with PP which offers great protection for the customer. Even if they made it possible to pay with BTC, I wouldn't dare to pay anything that way, because I also had some unpleasant experiences that I resolved in my favor just because I had the advantage of PP on my side.

I ordered some things from a Chinese site sometime before the pandemic, and I also had a case where I was waiting for a shipment and after 2 months I managed to find out that it returned to their warehouse, but it did not occur to them to return the money until I did not threaten them with PP.

From the outside, there is no page about Bitcoin but I guess it only shows up in the user's dashboard probably a preparation that they are going to accept Bitcoin in the future, it's one of the oldest China-made online marketplaces, it will be good if they start accepting Cryptocurrency I check the payment logo on their home page just below the home page and there was no logo of the payment processor that uses Bitcoin so it will be coming soon.

I quit a long time ago dealing with those sites, dx, banggood, their advantage as being ultra-cheap is slowly fading away and all the recent things I bought from them...well, they were worth as much as I paid for it, like a flashlight that is advertised at 5k lm and you hope it will at least do 1 thousand and not burn in the first month but miserably failed at both. In the past their medium-tier products were something, now, it's almost junk, and for the more expensive ones, it makes no sense to spend that money for something that will spend two months in shipping on every defect.

As for the bitcoin option, on their links Bttzed03 mentioned there is something interesting or rather funny
Quote
The handling fee is available for the user to choose. The higher the handling fee, the faster the arrival rate is. The default handling fee is 0.005.

Default handling fee, 50$? I see that you can opt for a cheaper alternative, but still...50 for the default?

Lol, so you don't like what we say, sue us in China  Grin
I don't know what they are up to, but they might indeed sell virtual miners contracts disguised as selling gear and colocation.

Point 9.  Risk warning
1.Buying a mining machine similar to investment has a very high risk
(1) There is a risk that the miner will be eliminated in the short term, and the miner's price may be adjusted according to market conditions without prior notice and price compensation. Please understand. Once the miner is sold, it does not support refunds or returns. The mining machine is currently only suitable for mining, and its components have all been modified. The second-hand resale will not be able to sell at actual value.
