I know the people who still earn good money with arbitrage, and I will continue to do so in the future. Personally, I find it very annoying and a tough job, there are many risks and hidden obstacles in this trading.

The arbitrage trading totally depends on the exchange sites. If the exchange sites didn't allow the arbitrage traders to send or deposit their coins to the exchange site and then these traders may get a big risk caused by the price drop that will happen in the price.

For me, arbitrage trading is a risky trade but it less risky rather than shorting the market.
Sometimes im also doing it too.

Generating profit from arbitrage is still very profitable, but not everyone can successfully do it. Because there are several things
that must be prepared before conducting arbitrage. The first thing that the amount of capital we have  must be large enough,
because there will be a lot of fees to pay. Such as transaction fees and withdrawal fees. Then the second thing is to do research
on the speed of the coins transaction process that we will choose for arbitrage, this is sufficient to determine the success in arbitrage.
And finally, do some research on the exchanges will use for arbitrage, don't let the exchanges be maintenance while we're going
to arbitrage. Or don't choose the exchanges require KYC to make a withdrawal. If all the things I mentioned are well prepared,
it should be very easy to make profit from arbitrage.

Things are changing and arbitrage trading is not as it is before. I only succeed in arbitrage on one trading and many opportunities I see with it always end up with either wallet maintenance or I cannot withdraw. I lose money on this in 2018 and I will advise you that if you did not have any good software for this then avoid it.

arbitrage still good?  any comments?

any suggestions for countries like where it would be good like to buy and where to sell to reap a profit?

Arbitrage trading still good so far, but there are many things you should know before you start. I see @ryzaadit already gives the point that you should concern before you start. Besides that, you should choose the coin which doesn't have a long time to confirm, and have a good move at that time, so when you start to arbitrage, the coin can arrive in the destination exchange at the right time. But above all, you need to check the price on every exchange, and if you can see there is a big gap between one exchange to another exchange, I think you can do arbitrage, but of course, you need to calculate everything before you start.
I have tried arbitrage trading and had very careful calculation plans for myself but it is completely inconsistent with the present time.
I have calculated the sending and receiving times of those altcoins, plus analyzing the volume, ... but it depends on a lot of other things. especially withdraw fee for small exchanges, they have very high fee about 2 - 5 $ / order, which makes me lose my profit. What's even worse is that the price is only skewed for low volume exchanges, so using arbitrage will not be really profitable, it just takes time.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you will be spending a ton of time following the exchanges you watch. This can be considered work, you might just as well get a real job instead of sitting infront of your computer trying to make a few bucks trading arbitrage.

For sure it would really require some work and finding out arbitrage opportunities would really need for you to eye on price differences between exchangers but there are some websites that had that
kind of listing out different prices from different coins on various exchange but those are just for major or top altcoins including btc itself but the fact that some of arbitrage opportunities do exist
on unknown or that too volumed coins in the market which means you would need to still check from time to time.If you do have work then you can still simply find out
arbitrage opportunities in your free time and since these opportunities doesnt come often.

Many are attracted to arbitrage because they see it as a way of trading in which you cannot lose, and this is simply not true, what will you do if you spot an arbitrage opportunity and then the exchange turns out to be a scam and you lose all your money? Things are not as simple as you think the are, besides many people here in the forum trade with very small amounts of money and arbitrage is known for the need to have huge amounts of cash to be effective and most people do not have what it takes to make it work.

to perform arbitrage, usually people monitor the list of sell and buy requests on the exchange. then comparing with other exchanges, if the difference is large and the number of orders can generate profits, it will be executed immediately. arbitrage for me the price reading speed and execution.

There are paid arbitrage websites which offer the mentioned services for fees less than $100. Execution speed and balance transfer issues are the main problems to grab the potential opportunities but experienced traders know how to handle such situations. Paying $100 for getting the technical data which will be useful for finding the gaps worth in flat markets but the same tool is a bit dangerous in volatile markets. DYOR before purchasing it or it will be a headache in the long term, from my experience.

You can't expect if the tx from one to another exchange site will be going very smooth if there are huge traffic in the blockchain. Basically, it's an impossible thing to arbitrage the ethereum assets as the blockchain is very slow and there's possibility for the deposit to be blockchain.

You must know if the exchange site that didn't wanna see the arbitrage users to go in will always try to block it.
That means you are in a big risk when the exchange site was doing such action preventing the arbitrage traders to sold their coins on it. '

Arbitrage will very effective to be done by using the scalable chain.

arbitrage still good?  any comments?

any suggestions for countries like where it would be good like to buy and where to sell to reap a profit?
days are gone for arbitrage mate, there are friend of mine that use to do this strategy here in our country years ago,but now they stopped because of none profiting and time wasting only.
instead of arbitrage they are now doing daytrading or some of them are completely holder now, letting their currency stays long in their respective wallets.

If you are gonna arbitrage trade I think its better to do this with the help of bots as you have to act very very fast to move the funds between the exchanges . Also the arbitrage really depends on gas costs as well if you are going to use DEX as part pf one of the legs.

If you are not an experienced trader I would suggest you to stay away from it.

If you are gonna arbitrage trade I think its better to do this with the help of bots as you have to act very very fast to move the funds between the exchanges . Also the arbitrage really depends on gas costs as well if you are going to use DEX as part pf one of the legs.

If you are not an experienced trader I would suggest you to stay away from it.
that's Why arbitrage is not that popular anymore like what this is in 2016 and 2017 not only very few people that is using this
 as strategy in trading.
But yeah maybe with Bot it can be safer a little but still i don't advise people doing this at our years now because it is much
risky than trading in single platform.

This is why I said that arbitrage requires a massive amount of money, if you are depending on moving your coins fast enough from exchange to exchange while paying the fees of the exchange and the transaction itself when the network is congested by the time your coins get to the exchange you will have lost the arbitrage opportunity, you need to have accounts in 10 to 20 different exchanges and have enough money in each one to get decent profits which is not easy at all.

Things are changing and arbitrage trading is not as it is before. I only succeed in arbitrage on one trading and many opportunities I see with it always end up with either wallet maintenance or I cannot withdraw. I lose money on this in 2018 and I will advise you that if you did not have any good software for this then avoid it.

nah.. that's why so many people are not interested anymore to do the arbitrage trade.
So many times people in the telegram group have been complaining about this. The exchange site didn't even give a notice before the closing of the deposit and withdrawal.
The exchange site didn't wanna see its own market gets disrupted by the arbitrage traders who are always moving their funds and then dump it.

The exchange site is really smart these days.  Cheesy Cheesy

I have tried this severally and failed. I transfer from exchange A to B to buy the token, after purchase, Exchange B block withdrawal of the asset, this I have checked before doing the transfer and it was open for withdrawal. Exchanges are also monitoring price action and when there is a huge gap, they either block deposit or withdrawal. It is somehow risky now than that of 2017

And that same reason why this is not applicable in our days now, this is best strategy back in 2016 and 2017 mate but now?
when the value has not been moving up and down?better try to HOLD more than risking in strategy that OP don't really understand because if he is then for sure there is no question like this here now.

OP forget about arbitrage and instead buy try to Consider long term holding from today till next year.

I see that there is a lot of potential, for example, like the erc20 token on the uniswap DEX exchange with the CEX exchange, it's just that the transaction fee is very expensive so it can't get a big profit doing arbitrage, only very little profit, but I don't know besides the erc20 token maybe there are some who have potential, usually it all depends on withdrawal fees and transactions also need to be taken into account

And the same massive amounts at many different locations and in different currencies too,,, which is something else these arbies will not tell you so you find out yourself.

Easy to see all the price differences at different exchanges on CMC,,, not easy to take advantage of with slippage and fees and tx time:)

DEX is one of the worse exchanges to do arbitrage trading because they charge ridiculous fees now that transaction fee is high and before starting arbitrage trading these days there are things a trader must put into consideration. The capital, search the exchange that provides reasonable fee, understand the exchange rules and regulations.

Exactly how arbitrage strategy must in effect and that is requires Big amount of capital not like in past that you can start with smaller amount ,you only need Speed internet and knowledge in which exchange are fast moving and high price value.
and added that the fees those day are not that high than today so if you are using 2 or 3 currencies for sure good profit will be on yours each trade yo made.
