I am not looking for next trend as defi trend has also proven to be short lived and the defi tokens value is going down everyday now resulting in people getting rekt again.
I just hope 2021 will be extremely bullish for the market and top coins will perform exceptionally well and that is all i want.

Next year maybe for non fungible token but whatever trend is, all trends will be good because of bullrun. Bullrun may be this year, but the highest result goes to next year. I wouldn't be surprised if cryptocurrency made this year's bullrun. Still Bitcoin doesn't overcome 20k USD, so maybe next year. Whatever trend is, I will follow only legitimate projects.

Bitcoin can overcome the $20k price in the remaining time that is left in the year 2020 because most of the times the pumps are the phases that begin as an exponential growth in price and not as a slow and steady curve in the trendlines. But year 2021 will definitely be a great year for the investors but I think that the bounty participants should find another source for their income as current pay rates aren't good at all for the work provided by the participants and the efforts that they put into it.

It has been said that NFT is the next big think after Defi and we gonna expect thing after the hypes. Maybe a sort of surprising to see how this thing will also make a hypes on the market. I'd have to see how the adoption takes and hoe people responded to this new projects.
Anyway, it was too early to draw some conclusions or anything because the market remains unpredictable.

I was wondering who is coming up with these new trends  . I was hearing about DeFi in this forum for a while but never cared to see what it was but then the hype forced me to see what is going on and i will make sure i will follow the NFT too even though i am not well aware of the technical side of things as this is the first time i am hearing this term .

It is difficult to predict the next trend in 2021. For NFT, the current trend will not be too big, but it is still possible until next year. What is certain for the DeFi Trend will slowly start to disappear and we will look forward to an interesting trend.

Im certain that we can look forward for new trend in crypto next year.
Its either defi will continue its popularity or surpass by another hype.

do not know the exact name of the coin but it takes more than 1 type of coin, I mean it covers a wider range such as defi, ieo, or other new things that will be booming later.

Decentralized Finance has not yet completely exhausted itself for the cryptocurrency market, so it is too early to say that the time for DeFi is running out. But this does not mean that at this time there can not be a hype around something new, such as NFT.

Trend is simply know as trading movement, which every traders or investors take analysis ahead before the market start, hence the trend of 2021 can not be predict exactly the amount of Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other coin, in cryptocurrency industries trading movement.

In the cryptocurrency world when there is a fixed trend the forefront is BTC and ETH, because these two coins are the driving factor for the ups and downs of all altcoin prices, while coins like NFT do not affect the movement of the cryptocurrency market.

At first I didn't know much about NFT but as I am an opensea user, they sent me an email or a notification about the Defi NFTs who got the biggest secondary sales or trading
volume in open sea.

But this hype is not yet enough to become trend this coming 2021, if Defi projects will continue to dominate in the following months then there is a big chances that it will still
be the trend in 2021. NFT has a long way before it will become that important to the investors, not only for their high prices but because there are very few investors who are willing to engage in this type of investment base on my view.

I don't have any idea about 2021 yet but maybe DeFi will still be hype until 2021 before any other hype arises to replace it. You know everything is difficult to predict and it seems like it flows more until it finally becomes a new trend. For NFT, I don't understand at all, it's been discussed a lot but I'm still not interested in knowing more so I can't say whether the next hype is NFT or not.

Could be, but we already have an indication that Decentralized Finance will take a spot light this coming 2021, there's a lot of hype right now, and there will be correction on DeFi projects this coming year, because it's an evolving technology.

Feels like that indeed but there are still problem with DeFi that are being corrected every day and there are times when you feel like this is the future but then a bad news out like what sushswap owner did but then good news is that Chef Nomi returned 38k ETH back to the treasure fund for the project.

I am very positive about how UNIswap is working and how they have become a prominent name in the market but I was curious if any similar event will happen with them as did with sushiswap which was also similar to uniswap. So far it has been looking good and there are some really exciting projects around the corner which I am excited about but at the same time I am being very careful with where to invest because DeFi as good as it might look still has some problems and there are already some scam projects in market.

I think that DeFi will still the trend for 2021 but also it will be a good year knowing that we are now that the economy of all the countries are now recovering which also means that the market will also recover. Also I am looking for a huge pump of all the crypto and hoping that the bull run will continue until 2021.

gaming and Defi could be a trend next year, I am sure that with this many communities it will be great in 2021,

I agree with NFTs that will be the trend in 2021. The unique artwork and assets digitized by blockchain are being adopted. NFTs are being incorporated into the games by developers, they can provide value to players.
I heard about NFT combining with DEFI but I don't imagine how they will work together.
