What is the next trend for 2021?

If you see the past history of the Altcoins, you will know that every year there will be another trend that will cause the other one to be forgotten just like the IEO trend last year. As you can see, no one is talking about it now. It could happen next year as well but not a hundred percent sure.
What you need right now is to make more research and studies about the current trend whether the market will still remain flourished like what we have seen today or it will be changed after we enter the first quarter of next year.

For me I think the next trend will be more focus on the application of blockchain to solve other problems such as identity management problems, property and supply chain.

Well, for crypto, we are heading towards more government intervention, as they have been learning the technology keenly.

After Defi I guess it would NFT or Non Fungible token (NFT) will be the next trend. And for everyone to know NFT is a special type of cryptographic token which represents something unique. No, you don't have to do what other people do because investing is not horse racing. You have your own way of deciding which asset to invest in after some deliberation. Profit and loss in investing is our own, so what's wrong with other people who believe that the asset they choose are potentially good for themselves (not for other).
I'm sure not everyone who claim to invest in a single crypto asset actually does. You know, I can tell you that I have 100BTC as a future investment asset. So do you believe me? If not, then you are doing the right thing because you didn't decide something without clear reasoning (asking something). You have principles and other people have, you and other people can decide which choice is best for themselves. Consider the risk.

Every year there's always  new trend coming in, some trend lasted only a few months some for long term and it's up to us to investigate and do a research if what kind of trend is being presented if it's a short term trend or what we might consider as a hype or a long term trend that will create a market and a community will revolved around, this is a long term trend that will guaranty profit and stability.

After the launch of Eth 2.0 the global focus and discussion will be centred at eth economy, so i think the whole ecosystem will massively expand. As a result Eth and its products will grow massively. So regardless of any specific trend im foreseeing something big, a real parallel and advanced decentralized financial and economy ecosystem all built on ethereum network.

I agree with the term the more "trends" more scam. Trends in the cryptocurrency market change very quickly and if we are not alert and quickly read market movements, we can experience losses. I think investing in coins that are well established and also have a large market cap value is safe enough and can be profitable for the long term.

Exactly.  Everytime I hear something is the next biggest thing i steer clear as I've been down that road before.  Guess what it probably isn't, or even if it is, the best quote I can remember for this is " if you cant spot the fish at the table its you."  Meaning if you don't know what is going on, you are the "investor" people are looking to dump things on

I second thought about NFT and I don't see it pulling the market the way DEFI is doing, I just have this feeling that those pushing the NFT narratives are those that miss out on DEFI gains. As for 2021, I still think DEFI will continue to grow and eat into the marketcap the more, if we still have the likes of ETC in the top of the marketcap shows there is a misnomer with the current pricing and those Zombie coins will give way to some of these DEFI projects

if nothing else appears then defi will still survive, I am also sure that even though the new trend will come in 2021 defi will still be there, I mean good projects will continue to exist such as links, makers, and several others.
What is the NFT of the coin, and when I look at the database in cmc it shows very low volume, I doubt if it will trend in 2021

The current Booming trend is DeFi and we can see that it is still doing some pretty good developments throughout this year. Maybe we can expect more from DeFi next year since lots of campaigns would base off from that system.
