The problem is that some people are too negative. 2020 and the coming years are too different from the 2017 scenario and I know it can be better those years past than the coming. It is an unbelievable a market crash is coming because the market is not going to look like that instead of watching it spread and huge adoptions will take place. It can replace fiat money totally? Probably not, but how'd I see is that Bitcoin had often to use than this.

i think i have reasons for that,

no the actual problem is  everybody who is all ready interested about cryptocurrency have invested and are hodlers in bitcoin.
simply we dont have new investors if the asset dont have new investors the price falling down or not going up.
and current situation like this covid situation everybody is out of jobs and a lot problems....times like this nobody dont think about getting rich but every day likey thinking about how to survive.


more educated knowledged traders will invest in Defi so the eth and btc hodlers will invest in Defi as the btc market stays stagnant and passive but the traders want to earn profit so they will start looking for more active markets wich is Defi.
When people cash out defi then they are exit into USDT mostly so defi boom has no big impact on btc price. As more and more the exchangers have usdt/defi dai/defi pairs  the BTC can be left out completily of Defi trading.

Ethereum is in much better position then BTC in my opinion

A friend of mine has a clear strategy, he divides the asset into 70% in cryptocurrencies and 30% in USDT, if the market falls deeply he will use 30% of USDT to buy cryptocurrency.

That's true and people have too big of expectations from crypto which although is good but that means we are too optimistic of the price and even expect BTC to replace fiat completely. I mean guys even I love bitcoins and hence I am here but that does not change the fact that fiat cannot be replaced by any digital currency let alone be bitcoins or any cryptos ever.

As for the price I believe the slow growth is actually better because it shows the price is growing organically and not because of a huge investment from a single person or group which also brings the danger of dumping it. We just need to keep faith and keep trading and make small profits while the price gradually grows as well and we are earning even more basically.

When speaking of volatile coins like Bitcoin, you can't speak of "normally", unless "normal" is already in your mind that Bitcoin is really indeed unstable.
There isn't single problem right now in the market. It is just stabilizing like Bitcoin being above 10.5k lately but <11k.
You don't expect history to repeat itself, so don't think of 2017 anymore. Think more of breaching past 20k aside going back from it.

This is one of the main problems with traders, they look at the past and ask when the market is going to behave exactly as it did back then? And the answer is never, the market never behaves exactly as it did in the past, there are going to be variations on its behaviour, so instead of thinking about the past we need to focus on the present, how the market is moving? Does it have the potential to go up or down? How big I think the movement is going to be? And based on our answer to those questions we need to take different actions.

The way I see it: the market is not going to crash, even if there should be any crash it’s going to be a small crash and with time it will pick up again. And like I said at first, the price is not going to be crashing , it has been stable at $10,000 and as time goes on there might be an event that will take place and will lead to the price pumping up. I don’t think anyone can tell for now when the price will go up, and we can’t tell how long it’s going to remain this stable.
