Suspicious donation for baby?

What do you think about this post asking for donation for sick baby?
Right after posting his addresses and paypal address with big font and sending small pictures, next newbie katherrinecox awakes after sleeping from 2019 telling he will be so kind to send donation...
Is it just me or something is not right here?

What if the whole world comes to the forum asking for donations for their sick children, I believe this forum will become a charity foundation for babies around the world.

No one believes that the photos displayed are real or not, it could be someone else's photo was taken by someone while visiting the house, but I'm not sure they are in the hospital under treatment, I am more sure that the photo was taken by someone while visiting the house, a few days after giving birth.


My advice to the OP, who is begging for donations.

If, it is true what they did to their baby, currently the state / government is the best solution to tell this problem, they are responsible to their citizens who really need, make youtube videos, fc, twr, say something about donations for your baby, I am sure that in one week you will receive guests and your baby's surgery for free and you will have lots of money.

It looks like an obvious scam attempt, and pretty bad one when you think about it, but I'm sure in scammers mind he appeared to be mastermind, with this new account faking the interest. As someone said here, scammers are pretty stupid sometimes.

Thing is, picture could be real and taken from some legit fundraiser, but of course scammers like the this don't have any scruples, and they are willing to to share pictures of sick children for their own financial gain.

Just last year my friend lost his child, and some scammer saw the picture in newspaper and decided to run fake fundraiser campaign, pretending that he is uncle, and just wanting to help the family. So yeah, there is nothing scammers won't do no matter how disgusting it is.

Maybe scammers take some baby pictures from other charities and share not only in this forum social media will also be their target because there are many users on social media, and I hope no one gets caught by this trap.

I am not entering into a discussion of whether this is a reasonable doubt even if look very suspicious using a second account in this case.
I am not sure where you are, but things are not so simple as you say. When the lives of young children are concerned, government reaction can have much procedure and complication for realization in social protection. Especially when it comes to some rare diseases. parents are most often desperate and want to start the healing process as soon as possible.
In my country, a few months already is a big action collecting money for one little (7 months old) girl, where is need 2.1+ million dollars for therapy (spinal muscular atrophy ^{I hope I translated well}).

Every citizen of our country has one card for treatment at all public and private hospitals, our government only provides one card for each citizen who is sick. It can be used for:
1. give birth,
2. Operations,
3. Inpatient,
4. Treatment
5. Outpatient care, and other health-related facilities.

Very simply, one card is only held by: our society, namely:



No one pays, if caught by the hospital charging fees, to patients who are sick, "Threats of the applicable law are: prison.

The card above (Bpjs) applies to all levels of society regardless of the poor and rich, government employees or ordinary people, all for free.
If, Admission to hospital, from ambulance service to patient accommodation, is free.


Donations made by forum members here are not a problem, if everything is transparent, accurate, and absolutely necessary for donation applicants, there is no element of fraud.

This is a kind of old school scamming of people they are giving a reasons that one of their family or love ones has a sick or need to have an immediately operation. It's not hard right now to make a fake documents and steal image of other people through online we need to make a report on this immediately to take an action because it's a identity theft.

Also the account is just recently woke up. It's hard to make a deal with it.

Fighting against scammers is hard job and it's harder when the scammer knows that you are ready with money to giveaway. When anyone asks for a donation to me through the project COVID-19 we ask for medical documents + other personal stuffs in some cases with the username and current date in the same image.

Take a note on writing the username and current date - even if anyone wants to photoshop it, it's not that easy to fake.

That's why threads like that aren't allowed--they're considered begging.  And no, I don't think that member has any sick children in need of bitcoin/ETH/PayPal.  I've been seeing threads like that come and go ever since I've been a member of bitcointalk.  Some of them are ridiculous, some you can't tell, but they all attempt to tug at your heart strings in order to get at your wallet. 

Just assume that if someone claims they're sick, they have family members with an illness, they need money to fix their car, whatever, that they're trying to scam you.  99.9999% of the time you'll be correct. 

Think about what you'd do if your baby was diagnosed with some heart defect or any other kind of serious medical condition.  Would you take to bitcointalk to try to raise funds?  I sure as hell wouldn't.

This is just a stupid thing that forum users do now getting smarter where every donation will definitely ask first and of course the post is not from a newbie member, something ridiculous I want to laugh out loud. lol 

Hopefully they get a reply that's what they mean to scam people off this forum.

Everyone has problems and everyone needs money in the world. In continuation of this, peoples choosing the various way to earn money. Even peoples do care if they have to scam others. Many fake donation topics have been creating on the forum. It's become really hard to identifying real cases. The problem is, scammers, getting advantage of our generosity and endangered peoples have been deprived of the helps.

Asking donation from a newbie account is really suspicious either it's the real or fake case. Simply forum users will skip the thread without donating. Because it's not quite reasonable to send donations to the newbie's account.
