It's not that bad but I guess nobody else wants a new design. Although it's not official, the BTC has been used for many years already. I have read some post about someone filing a patent for the logo but that's not enough reason to change it or look for another design.

 Why do you think we need a new Bitcoin logo and what inspired you to this new design?

 There is too much space between the elements which make it appear as the number 13.
 As we all know, King Philip ordered the arrest of the Knights Templar on on Friday the 13^th of October and the Knights were subsequently killed with many also being tortured.   Thirteen is also representative of the baker's dozen - also known as the devil's dozen.  There's also the issue of dinner parties where the 13th guest is usually very obnoxious or a total asshat, ie Loki and Judas.

What's the reason to get a new logo? That logo isn't B as read for Bitcoin, that's something like number 13. I'd rather suggest you to focus on different matters related to bitcoin instead of having a new symbol/logo.

It's actually not that bad but comparing it to the logo of bitcoin. Bitcoin logo is still better, also no one would want to change the bitcoin logo or it would not affect anything at all.



I guess you could make some improvement if you're just doing it for fun

How about giving us an idea who's the name you've brought up.

Why there's a need to change the logo of bitcoin? this isn't a new logo of bitcoin but it's better to name it as something like a fan-made logo or modified logo just for the sake of editing or art.

Its not that appealing and nothing can really beat out the original one.Hence, theres no need for such changes yet the current logo or icon itself is already enough.

Why people do really need to change it up? for what purpose? The entire community would always look for the original ones and not the alteration.

Basing off on comments on this thread then most doesn't like the design.Period.

Too late for you. You were not around at that time Satoshi was asking for bitcoin logo ideas.
The bitcoin Logo is not just a logo. It's unique and must meet certain specifications such as The B is slanting at 14% in the clockwise direction

Your new logo for bitcoin makes it looks likely to be separeted into 2 pieces. It is like a broken bitcoin. I am not falling in love with broken bitcoin so I don't support the new logo for bitcoin.

Next question to be raised: the current logo of bitcoin is used for a decade, by many exchanges, services, forums, websites and the community love it. Do you really think that you can get enough attention and supports from community to force exchanges, services to change the current logo of bitcoin to yours?

This is not the first time I am seeing people with this creating of a new logo for Bitcoin. I just don’t know why you guys are doing this, and moreover I don’t prefer any other logo apart from the current one that is being used as the main logo.

Did the devs say anything about changing of the BTC logo? Your logo is a nice one, but I wouldn’t say that it is a better choice than the one we are making use of now.

I think the Bitcoin logo you are displaying is too shabby compared to the existing one, because I see the logo you created is not very good and makes everyone weird, so don't try to replace the Bitcoin logo like that because if you try to change it it will definitely have a bad impact on the future development of Bitcoin.

 your logo looks like a normal bitcoin logo but the difference is that it was cut . you didnt say that you are going to replace btc logo with this so im not angry , its only your own version so feel free of using it and besides if we search on the net people also use costumized btc logo's and they are fine , thier site still runs and no one accuses them . one more thing , your logo also blend with your name , it looks like its written in vietnamese

I don't want to know who you are or Cuong Vi Truong, I just have a question for you.

What does the new logo mean and what is it for it to be separated like: [1] toll bridge and [2] tunnel line 2. For what, in my opinion it's not a new logo, it's something that is not, unique, it's a basic logo cut into two parts.
