No strategy works that gaurantee wins but all for marketing there are casino blogs that kept publishing all the techniques and strategies all have been written before and rewritten again. Martingale looks to be on the list at every game. It's a simple method for the most game that I think negates the notion where odds favor the house until series of losing streaks strikes.

That's the cons of martingale's strategy we need a lot of budgets to cover when it becomes huge stakes therefore I rarely use this strategy when I play BJ since I have limited budgets. I usually being a flat gambler and relying on my intuitions although it doesn't always give satisfying results in the end.

So you are saying that martingale will always work if you have unlimited money? It is completely wrong obviously as there any casinos is having max bet on their games. It means that once you reach the max bet while doing martingale (on losing streak), you wont be able to continue the strategy although you still have so much money on your balance.
Back to blackjack strategy, even though I do not really like this game but I do play it sometime when I get bored with my favorite games. What I usually do when playing blackjack is flat betting for fun only.

Theoretically this looks good but practically how many people have that much money where they can double it after each losing game. Mostly startegy may not be able to work and if you lucky anyways you will win the games which do not require any skill and based on just luck. Would not be positive about this martingale startegy which will work due to limited money we all have.

I went through the article, but IMO most of the information is not Blackjack-specific. Rather, it's focused on the bankroll management, which is a necessary but by no means a sufficient condition of winning. The flat-betting method is not a bad option for financial management, and is probably the safest among those stated in this article. I once came by an even safer bankroll management strategy that involves lowering the bet amount with every next bet, no matter whether you're winning or losing. As for the Martingale System, at least the article mentions that it's very risky.

To be honest I didn't find anything interesting in this article! Nothing concrete, just talking about how you can play any gambling game, and you can play it aggressive or passively (everything comes down to that), and your gameplay will directly affect the level of risk. Passive play means less risk for your bankroll, but you can't count on some big profit, aggressive play means big risk for bankroll (to that point to lose all), but in the same time you can be lucky and win big. Now you can apply your game style on any gambling game, you will set up your goals and choose the best approach (passive/aggressive) to get to your goals, and you know that with passive play you will need hours and maybe days to do it, and with more aggressive approach you can do it in half an hour and to take a big break and do something else, and that would be the best thing to do, if you get carried away with big wins and try to take a bit more greediness will eat your bankroll!

I have seen a thread where op provided a calculator to solve your hand if it have a higher chance of winning. Compared to strategy I think calculator is much more useful if you talk about blackjack in an online casino.

But you need first to win twice with the same amount of bet, and then, continue to exponentially double your bets. This means that even if you have good profits already and you lose, your initial bet is already safe as you have already better twice with the same amount of fund.

I tend to use a similar strategy when playing Roulette or BlackJack, it's great to make small winnings but requires some discipline. i dont wanna say this but that does mean we cannot recover our losses anymore  ? and if we start another martingale session we are only going to end the same . thanks btw for reminding the max bet thing , i have noticed that too on some casino . so that should be the purpose on why they came up with that max betting thingy  . i thought they put that because thats what the only max payout they can afford to pay  . its also risky recovering our losses thru flat bets , i have tried that play before.

I agree with kryptqnick. This is not all about Blackjack. These are generic betting strategies or gambling fund management to be exact. The article does not talk about Blackjack except when it mentioned some additional tips.

Flat betting, negative progression, positive progression, Martingale, and so on are also applied to dice, roulette, baccarat, and other gambling games even including sports betting to a certain extent.
