Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries?

It's a good thing to restrict users who are not supposed to access the platforms at the beginning itself that can be helpful in avoiding lots of dramas.

I actually had this discussion earlier in their ANN too and after that they added the list of restricted countries in the ToS page itself prior to that they had it in separate tab by the way they still have list of restricted countries in the registration page which also should be removed in my opinion.

Some casino has a method to detect whether a user is using a VPN or not using special tool according to reliable user here in the forum. Casino can request the user to complete KYC once they won huge amount which means the user will need to submit an ID that will match to the country IP that he is using through VPN or else his account will be freeze.

This is the reason why the use of VPN is dangerous nowadays if you are from restricted country. You will never know when will casino ask you KYC.

That notification or straight-out ban should inform players that they aren't allowed to play there based on their location. Now, if they try to circumvent this and fool the casino systems with VPNs, it's their own fault for getting into trouble. What I like to see is that the casinos do their part.

By passing the casinos ip block using VPN   I Wonder why someone would want to go through all that stress just to risk his money. We know how so many threads has been raised here on the forum about users whose accounts were locked or frozen as a result of restricted countries. I know most times some people fails to check the TOS but for those that do check and still want to play using VPN I wonder what interests them so much. It's a good thread you've got here @ Pmalek.

I've only seen a few casinos that restricted me by IP of my country, but I hardly witnessed that. Among over 200 casino sites I'd visited, maybe just 3 of them acted that way. I am not bothered because I call that Integrity, it's better this way so that I do not waste my time and the casino steal my money.

Do you know why many casinos would not stop some intending customers from joining their casinos? It's because they want to steal their money, the vice of some back actors in the casino industry is huge. They can't tell me their system can't detect it, that's the simplest thing for websites/platforms to know. They know that some customers do not bother to check the ToS and instead of guiding them properly (like I see in some other industries), they will rather pretend to a point of no return for the customers' money. That's not cool.

In fact, the security systems of each individual gambling platform can vary considerably. And VPN can be used in different ways. For example, one user uses a free VPN service that gives him a random IP address from a pool of addresses, which most likely have long been known to the security service of the gambling platform. Another user rents a server with a permanent IP address and independently takes care of his anonymity. Someone does not even think about it and plays for fun, ignoring the rules. So everyone's risks are different, but I wouldn't recommend using a VPN if the rules prohibit it.

Bonus abuse is one reason. Especially if the casino provides no deposit bonuses and similar benefits. Abusers will try to sign up using multiple accounts, hoping not to get caught. Another type of abuse is that from returning players who were banned in the past and they want back in.

You are from Nigeria, no? Most casinos on this forum have Curacao gambling licenses. This licensing house doesn't restrict Nigerian players by default. If you were based in Germany, the US, the UK, the Netherlands, etc., you would probably notice it more often.
