can't get into my Electrum Wallet

Hi,
I was using Electrum 4.0.2 on a mac os 10.13.4
downloaded 4.0.3 and installed it,
but now every time I try to log in I get this message:
Cannot create window for wallet:
InvalidOperation([<class 'decimal.InvalidOperation'>])
Somewhere else someone suggested to delete the config file but this didn't solve my problem.
I'm a noob, sorry in advance if this is a stupid question, but can someone help me please?

Maybe it's some bug of sorts. Have you tried uninstalling then making a fresh installation of the app or even rolling back to the previous version?

I did some search around and I saw some issues that were generated by the automatic crash reporting system which means you are the only one who has experienced this but there are not many details about what causes it and how it can be resolved

it's specific to your wallet file so just restoring from seed will do the job. to be able to get to the installation wizard you just have to rename the data dir:

I have the same error before with the low version in windows 7 but I never solved the issue that's why I stay using the lower version until they release a new version and the issue was solved.

So, I think it's a bug that you need to report directly from their GitHub.

For now, if all above suggestion doesn't solve the issue much better to uninstall the latest version and stay use the 4.0.2 version instead.
