What happened; HelioSwap took content and ideas from Mainframe whitepaper and Falcon Swap project and used it as their own, without providing any reference whatsoever. Naturally, there is no mention of the team. Not on the website, and not in the whitepaper. Overall, this looks like just another quick money grab attempt.

this is very serious, as far as i could see there is no way that the creator of this project removed some parts to serve as inspiration, he practically took everything from the other project and pasted it on his project. that is, there is nothing new and valuable in his project. I will leave negative feedback and I will support the flag

Nice catch again Rikafip! I've recently bumped onto their announcement thread and it was too good that it seems to be true, but looking further on to the link, (hovering the whole ANN image), you can see that it will direct you to "http://https//helioswap.org", hence I've been suspicious with the occurring redundancy on the URL link alone. As Slow death had said, it is serious that helioswap really just literally copied an entire legit project to be theirs and also affecting that project as well. Supporting the flag!

What happened; HelioSwap took content and ideas from Mainframe whitepaper and Falcon Swap project and used it as their own, without providing any reference whatsoever.
Maybe they thought no one would noticed. Falcon swap is one of the mid tier project that reach more than 10x as ATH so these guys are probably trying to get that hype. Though thanks to our diligent scam hunters here, these are exposed. Thanks for posting again a good catch mate, supported the flag.

This is very serious, as far as i could see there is no way that the creator of this project removed some parts to serve as inspiration, he practically took everything from the other project and pasted it on his project.
The fact that he indeed combined all information and concept from other project is a clear sign of fraud.

You would think they would care to evade detection software but no, these scammers are so eager to scam and steal money that they act like junkies and copy paste everything from any project that they know of. Cheesy

Of course a person coming new to this scheme without any knowledge of how crypto-based scams are done will fall for it and lose their money. They are essentially the group whom these scams target and so the flag is important, which obviously I supported and left some red paint yesterday. FlagNTag! Cool

They are banking on gullible users from the net.
Not all investors know how to use this forum and check for potential scammers.
There are a lot of lazy people in cyberspace and only care if they can earn something from what is in front of them.
This is the reason why there are so many people accusing bitcoin or crypto as fraud, because of their ignorance or just laziness.

I think that's just a mistake of a person that made their ANN, he simply used the wrong link. And they were so lazy and incompetent that they didn't even check if links are working properly.

Until I checked HelioSwap, I never even heard about FalconSwap as I'm not really into DeFi and I stay away from it. One thing always surprises me is the fact that scammers tend to copy well known projects, while that generally makes it easier to spot. They are just that stupid sometimes.

I've tried some tools at the beginning, but now I mostly use good old Google. Nothing fancy, just that. And after some time you start seeing some inconsistencies so it makes it a bit easier to sport. For example, part of the whitepaper was written in subpar English, and then suddenly you have parts clearly written by someone fluent. That's a big red flag, and usually means that part has been copied.

If youre not a risk taker and believe in much fundemantel of blockchain like bitcoin then no need for you mate to enter defi shit. Im just really a risk taker thats why Im getting fomo with some of these, since I earned from them. But not advisable to everyonr to follow cause the risk is too high. So this helioswap must be same.

For example, part of the whitepaper was written in subpar English, and then suddenly you have parts clearly written by someone fluent. That's a big red flag, and usually means that part has been copied.
Damn so its still manual checking. I admire you bro, finding it wasnt easy. I never posted copied whitepaper on my scam topics, so Im asking a better way to locate them. Anyway thanks for the suggestion.

I was a risk taker back in 2017/2018, but it didn't bring me much profit. Neither did trading, so I focused mostly on Hodl. Maybe I missed some good opportunities during this hype,  but I worry less and sleep much better. Would have been cool if I picked that Uniswap airdrop though, but knowing my trading skills, I would loose more than they airdropped.

I did try plagiarism tools at the beginning, but they didn't prove to be any better than manual checking via Google. On the contrary, it was even worse so I ditched that. At least that was my experience, maybe others have more luck with that, or they are using better tool than I did, those paid ones could be much better as I only tried free version,
