My first deal and my first money I earned in crypto.
Winter 2018, “Bitcoin” went into correction and the price has fallen
by half from the maximum of 20,000 now it costs 10,000.
At this time, my brother and my schoolmates are engaged in crypto
exchange (this was the end of my previous story), and their conditions in
the Kazakhstan market was one of the best. I gave them fictitious
names, I did not want to reveal all the cards yet: my brother is Armen,
school friends are Vitally and Mark.
I am actively starting to use telegram, I found thematic channels, groups
and chats. I was looking for clients in my city.
I met a young man, let's call him Zhan (his name is also fictitious, but the
numbers will all be true), he bought at good prices a couple years ago
and has been mining very serious for one year. I offered the services of
my friends to a new man, if you need to buy / sell - contact us, we will
do it quickly and profitably. And he immediately replied: Let's sell 5
«Bitcoin» tomorrow afternoon. We discussed time and place. I called my
brother and found out the price of the commission for such a transaction.
We decided to give him an amount without commission, buy
his 5 coins at a price of 1 for 1, although most buyers in the CIS at that
time take a commission of 1% or more. Thus our client database of
miners developed, we always tried to give more, interested them to work
with us. Zhan satisfied with such conditions, then I have been already
found out that before met me, he sold with a commission of 1-2%.
Next day, it was a deal time. We were sitting in the office waiting for Zhan,
and I saw that my friends were doubt about him, he will / will not come,
has he these 5 «Bitcoins» or has not. Maybe it was “shot in a void”. This
was my first deal where I took part. They were experienced guys. Last
autumn they made several hundred deals.
And then my client called. He was in the parking lot, I went downstairs to
meet him and accompanied to our meeting room.
We were sitting at the table, Mark took out a wad cash from his case.
50,000 on the table, Zhan started to count manually. We didn't have a
cash counting machine at that time. He was sure that we had money.
After that Zhan took his smartphone and sent us 5 «Bitcoins». We paid
him extra. «Bitcoin's» price was about 10.250 at the time of the
transaction. We were waiting for a transaction in the blockchain and
confirmation. 15 minutes after we received the first confirmation. Vitalyi
gets up, stretches out his hand to Zhan and said: I received, it's Ok. Good
deal. We said goodbye to Zhan, he left us. I did not understand
what happened. I remembered well my first words after Zhan's departure,
Guys, are you kidding? You gave 5 packs of dollars and received nothing
back.
I worked in trade before. I was sure that if you give a cash, you have to
take something back. For example goods, products etc. Vitalliy answered
to me: Hey buddy look we have 5 «Bitcoins» and showed me his
smartphone screen, where it was just a simple number.
Armen convinced Mark and Vitalliy to take me with them to the next
deal, so that I can see how it happens. He is my brother, that why he
tried to involved me in this bussiness. He knew that I am a smart guy.
and he wanted me to be experienced, more skillfull, more clever and
continued to work in the same way with their team. The guys agreed and
we went to the another buyer. I remembered that during the way in the
car Marik did not close the blockchain wallet and watched the price of the
«Bitcoin», he was worried that the price could be fall down. Now it seems
ridiculous, we did not transfer to a Tether, we were holding «Bitcoin» in
our e-wallet. Sometimes we lost, but when rate went up we earned nice
bonus.
We came to the buyer, the price of the «Bitcoin» has not changed much.
We went into the office, we are met by an adult and respectable man
who was glad to see us. "Hi, come in, have a seat". He offered tea or
coffee. He has been waiting this meeting for 4 days. It was many
customers, who want to make a deal at price 10 000 USD for Bitcoin and
on big sums of money. They put him on the line.
The buyer get a bundle of dollars from the safe, Marik immediately
counted them, Vitalliy had been already sending the transaction, Armen
spoke with the buyer at ease, and I was sitting and watching on them
and was surprised what was happening. I began to understand that we
were selling Bitcoin with a 4.5% of interest and our buyer is incredibly
happy about this fact. Five coins went to the buyer's wallet, he is
satisfied, hugged all of us, said goodbye and promised to buy more in the
near future. We left.
Vitalliy was driving, Marik and Armen calculate the profit, it came out to
about $ 2,200. Armen offered me to take 400$. I knew that a crypto
exchange is good money, but just to get the average monthly salary in
Kazakhstan in 3-4 hours without doing anything .... I was shocked. With
pleasure I took my money and left in my direction.
On the way, I understood exactly what I would do now!
