Hi All, we finished a big milestone with the team and pushed a big content update onto our servers. We are now in OPEN BETA with our free to play geo-location game Coin Hunt World!

What is Coin Hunt World?
Our goal with Coin Hunt World is to help educate the world about crypto by getting it into their hands in a fun way & help alleviate some of the financial difficulties people and businesses are struggling with now, especially in the time of covid. It is a geo-location game where you explore your cities, discover keys to open vaults, play minigames and earn cryptocurrencies.


What's new in this version?

• Improved graphical quality
• Improvements on location by WiFi
• Improved random trivia question quality
• User account creation
• HQ creation
• Friend invite system with referral code and rewards
• Key forging now available at every keybooth (providing you have enough keys)
• Printshops added to the game (rare, most often found at malls and other big commercial places)
• The first buddy quest has been added to the game! If you invite a friend, there is a chance you and your friend will receive a buddy quest. Solve the quest and you both get a big reward.
• Sonar effect indicating something rare is nearby (like a printshop)
• Credits added to the options menu
• Anti-Aliasing toggle added to the options menu (for lower end phones)
• Leaderboards are added to the game (both local and global)
• The first batch of new avatar blueprints are added to the game
• Various bug fixes and performance improvements

What's the business model for this game?
Our game makes revenue in 3 ways:
 1) we sell some exclusive cosmetic items for your avatar (crafting recipes)
 2) we will charge token teams who want to use our platform to educate users about their tokens
 3) marketing programs with businesses including brick and mortar ones that can take advantage of our foot traffic

Any later benefits for beta testing now?
Absolutely:  
1)there will be avatar crafting blueprints that will only drop during the beta
2)Players will be able to take ownership of vaults, giving them a kickback of all rewards that that vault pays out to other players. Early adopters will be able to claim the most famous hotspots in the world before anyone else claims them

Just as an FYI Malwarebytes for android threw up a warning when I went to install the 1st time.
When I tried again later there was no warning. Don't know if it was something on their side or something with your code that it did not like.

Will play more when work slows down a bit. Really wanted to spend time with the closed beta but never had time.

Is there by any chance that you have sent a wrong url since the your app cannot be seen in Google's Playstore? I tried searching it manually in the Playstore but it returned to me a dozen result which made me unsure which is from you. For the app itself I don't think it is the right time to release such app where people are rewarded if they go out of their homes even if there is a pandemic happening in most of the world. With this app they are actually doing unnecessary things when they are outside of their houses which they shouldn't do in the first place. Maybe delay the release for this app until things can get better.

Where are you / what region are you in? It might not be available out of the US / certain markets.
I know you used to have to specify from where it is available, but it's been years since I dealt with people releasing apps.

Games like this will click if it's allowing to earn BTC and ETH, the two most loved cryptos in the community.

OP you should have pointed that out in your post also what's your reply about incentivizing people on going out for this kind of game/app? As I said earlier I don't think that this is the right time for you to release such app when people should be going out less and less because of the current pandemic we have. With your app you are actually encouraging people to go out more even if it's dangerous. Maybe have your app be more rewarding in having prizes indoors instead of being outdoors.

On the contrary, the period of publication and launching of this application is one of the best period from my own opinion
Reasons being that the application allow users/players to earn free bitcoin and ethu which are the best cryptocurrency in use
The developer also needs to work on the location preference since it allows only  US  users

It's only on beta phase so provably when everything goes right and it gain success for sure it will be accessible on many regions in the world. I'm also interested to see the game although I'm currently in Asia and no luck to play it for  now. Also I love the indoor suggestion by the user above since it's more convenient to play if there's an option with prizes something like that offered here since for sure players will prefer to do this in the long run.

Some thoughts:
1) You have some things in inaccessible spots. There is a Key near me on private / gated property. Trespassing is not cool.
2) Map needs to be able to zoom out more.
3) Map needs to show a compass / something to indicate direction.
4) Need to be able to keep the screen on, it shuts down with the default phone timeout.
5) Possibility of a way to show what is nearby but not on the screen.
6) Some basic documentation would be nice :-)

A nice diversion.

Also, if possible and I know it's a long shot....Android Auto integration.
Think about it, driving down the road and something pops up on your screen....or, since I drive an Accord that has it...pops up on your HUD.
