Coin was supposed to launch with KGW, but it didn't, so it's either another fail launch, or instamine on purpose

There's no KGW in the published source code that I can find.  It looks unchanged from the current YACoin code except one minor alteration (that doesn't even do anything since all the blocks are over 1395550000 according to nchainstarttime)

Code:
    if(pindexPrev->GetBlockTime() < 1395550000)
        nTargetSpacing = fProofOfStake? nStakeTargetSpacing : min(nTargetSpacingWorkMax, (int64) nStakeTargetSpacing * (1 + pindexLast->nHeight - pindexPrev->nHeight));
    else
        nTargetSpacing = fProofOfStake? nStakeTargetSpacing : min((int64) nStakeTargetSpacing*2, (int64) nStakeTargetSpacing * (1 + pindexLast->nHeight - pindexPrev->nHeight));

looks like the intention was to have the startup blocks at half the interval under the dev is done with his mining...

True, there was a difficulty adjustment every block. Not much, i kept an eye on it.

Yes, he copied YAC's, which adjusts fairly quickly, however he started it at a ridiculously low number, no way it was going to adjust properly given the advancements made in cards and software since YACoin's launch last May.  Also, N=4 at launch is a joke to me now - it only serves to feed the "We have more MH than other coin" ego.
