UniSwap New Airdrop On Telegram... Real Or Fake?

Hi All

A few hours a ago, A friend told me that Uniswap just launched the second version of their airdrop and this version is targeting all telegram users.

Having missed the first and initial airdrop that brought uniswap to limelight(where users claimed 400 uni tokens each) i thought this was an opportunity for me to get some free UNI too(who no like free money??? 🤣 )
I quickly joined the airdrop by clicking the referral link my friend sent to me, the link lead me to the below telegram bot ..






From the bot I joined their channel and another channel called Live Payment Channel



 



I sincerely have some doubt about whether the airdrop was organized by uniswap themselves or is just the restless scammers playing with my time and data again.

Please, i will really appreciate it if anyone can confirm if this is legit or not, ive reached out to uniswap on Twitter to verify is the airdrop is from them but they didn't reply my tweet...

There's no Uniswap telegram channel.

If there was any airdrop it would be announced here: https://uniswap.org/blog/

If they are the one that open this airdrop they will make official announcement about this . It will help you to know if you can ask directly the uniswap team in their social media channel if they have.

Most of the airdrop given in telegram is only a waste of time so I don't think uniswap will use that telegram channel . You can still have uniswap in their website by a liquidity mining that's the real airdrop that I know they have.

Yet a scam airdrop bru, if there should be one like this it should have been posted on their: https://uniswap.org/blog/ this airdrop has been posted on my group page and i reported it as scam, so, this isn't a good airdrop from the team Uniswap, okay. Though you can give a try but be rest understand that it will be time wasted.

It's a scam and if that's a legit airdrop and it will always be discussed on the main forum of uniswap. I see nothing happen and the only way to get the legit information regarding the uni event through this site https://gov.uniswap.org/

I eagerly opened your thread to know about this airdrop but as soon as i get to know that it is for telegram users who have not used uniswap or uniswap cannot even confirm the authenticity i understood that the airdrop is fake.
We should use common sense as well while hearing about these airdrops and giveaways and should not fall for scammers so easily.

This was expected scammers are riding on the success of UNI airdrop, we will see many more of this because the huge airdrop is still fresh in the minds of the people and they are still looking for a similar airdrops and we all know how good scammers in imitating legit site, people should moderate their greed or they will end up getting scammed, lose their money and waste their time and effort.

yes right, before that there was also a telegram UNI scam bot. I forgot the link but I remember that at the same time the scamers had made 4 ETH profit from the airdrop coin hunter gas fees. and now UNI telegram bot appears again, I think it's a scam, better avoid and don't waste your time with that fake airdrop.

It's obvious that this is fake because as I know Uniswap doesn't have telegram channels and Uniswap only has discords and forums to announce airdrops. What you post is only intended to get a lot of members on telegram and twitter.

If they were real, why only make posts like this? they should also provide etherscan

I've read on twitter that someone asked about the uniswap V2 airdrop is it real? and the uniswap company said it was not authentic. The party is over and there is no second chance to claim the UNI tokens for free. So it can be concluded that Uniswap airdrop V2 is a scam.

Mate, we should avoid any unofficial airdrops from anywhere, particularly when they message you first.
I don't think uniswap requiring gas fee to claim the airdrop. What i know is uniswap airdropping their token to earlier uniswap accounts, who joined and used before September.

Since the shocking airdrop of Uniswap, many scam projects appear and claiming they are connected to UNISWAP just like this one. There's no such another Airdrop with Uniswap simply because they don't have telegram account and for sure if there is, they will not announce it just like the first one. Don't fall for this one, if there's no information needed then its fine but if they require your personal information, better not to participate.
